Also, just like weapons such as the Harrier, its ammo capacity is awful.

I just don't see why people like the Claymore...
It's one of the things that I've never understood.
The weight is ridiculous, the accuracy is awful and it's practically useless on anything longer than medium range. It's damage is awesome, yes, but it's not worth sacrificing everything else for
While the Widow, for example, is heavy and highly damaging - and has a single shot magazine like the Claymore - it's much more accurate and a long range weapon, making it the better choice.
It's also a very high-risk, high-reward weapon. So it's a little bit useless for me.
I prefer medium risk, medium reward.
We have an unbeliever gentleman. Before we burn you at the stake, lemme tell you why Claymoar is awesome.
1. BOOM! (no explanation needed)
2. Massive damage (bypasses shieldgate with any ammo, while Window needs Phasics)
3. Weight is no issue for Winfiltrators or most Soldiers
4. Claymore on a Turian Soldier turns into double barrel shotty with laz0r accuracy from Marksman.
5. No scope means no tunnel vision

But... but... but I have so much to LIVE for.
![]()
1. Boom isn't a logical argument. Many weapons go boom. It's kind of what they do.
2. Widow, even though you require Phasics to bypass shieldgate, is still the superior weapon.
3. It's still something that's to be considered on advantages vs disadvantages.
4. I don't play many Turians, and when I do I'd prefer a weapon which I wouldn't have to go and visit an ammo box every few minutes with. Due to the firing rate and accuracy bonuses of marksman, something like the Lancer would benefit more from it - and it'd mean you'd never have to go to get more ammunition.
5. Still has terrible accuracy, and is bad at anything longer than medium range.

High risk, high reward makes zero sense.
We are penguins. We are tactical thinking creatures. A missed shot with the Claymore could be the difference between life and death. Miss a round with the Lancer? Who gives a crap, you have 101 more to hit an enemy with (assuming the weapon is Level X and has the magazine upgrade). And although the damage may not be anywhere near as high as the Claymore, the Lancer is superior in every other respect. Better firing rate, larger magazine, lower weight, higher accuracy and is better at a longer range. It outclasses the Claymore in everything other than the damage. It also, you know, works for me more than the Claymore does. ![]()

Holy crap I just ran out of likes for the first time ever... I didn't think I had liked that much today... wait.
I've liked nearly everything that OWA has said, and I've liked some of the things Fuenf has said... then I've liked many other things. I suppose that adds up. I feel like such a nice person giving all my likes out. ![]()

No way josè! 100% mandatory that we find romance in ME3:MP. It's exhilarating to overcome the near insurmountable odds of finding said babe, finding out she is a babe, then fighting the other 2 dudes in the lobby for her hand. You can't be with someone who doesn't have an appreciation for something you're so passionate about, ME3:MP.Ftw? that's a lot of work, then - you have to win some games along the way because they have set the bar extremely high, here.
Wouldn't it be simpler to just meet while jogging, having a café and croissant in the sun, taking a dog for the walk, library, museum whatever?
You have to be the best of the best in both worlds to impress somebody from BSN
Plus, I have to online. People don't typically ask you what you look like right away and maybe I can get her to catch feels before she sees me.

Stats aren't everything mate, higher firing rate and mag size means jack **** when I can literally one shot most enemies with the claymore. Add to that reload canceling and you've got a pretty insane dps. Have fun with your hundred round peashooter!
High risk high reward doesn't make sense? My asari valkyrie would say otherwise, same with any krogan character but from your posts I'm guessing you're someone who likes to play it safe Mr penguin. But if you penguins really were so tactical, you would've made time for orbital bombardment instead. ![]()
Going boom is a valid argument, in fact it's the best argument of the lot! And no, no other gun goes boom like the claymore. It also has good enough accuracy, if you're using it like it's meant to be, a shotgun.
Also is QFI and lancer the only thing you play?

No shield gate issue. And even better if on console, no aim assist issue due to hip fire everything but the really far away things.
If you want more accuracy, try GI or Destroyer.

Oh, there's never enough time for orbital bombardment. Not even for us penguins. And yes, I play it safe.
It means I die less and it doesn't stop me scoring high, so it's the best decision for me. Tactical thinking.

that reminds me of sitting in cinema , early in the morning, back from holidays ,long ago - we were watching one of the alien movies. 5 people had the whole cinema for themselves. To our right , 3 seats to the front, this one guy were living himself into the movie. He jumped up shouted to the screen that people had to watch above them etc. and almost had constant nervous breakdowns at the dramatic climaxes. I never really got much of that movie - so much I had watching that guy letting it out. Probably that's why he watched at strange times. On topic: I noticed today with my microphone that I yell and taunt the enemies when it gets thick. Lol PUGs probably think I'm nuts because I get pretty intense
Confession -had 121 ms ping delay from ea servers tonight- wth so i chose the drell vg. At least fire had 80. I imagine in 2 months time we'd be happy to play slideshows with 1s delays+ getting email spammed from strange sites that bought our ea id's.

I prefer the Claymore Destroyer over GI too is only for the 100% stagger resistance. Too bad he's not as fast and always requires an AdrenMod3.

Well, now that I'm knocking out pre-reqs for schooling toward my second career, I'm finding myself surrounded by friendly 20-something co-eds in yoga pants. I honestly don't know what to do with myself. Should I return to ME3MP and hold out for a possible hot babe who may reject me because of a substandard loadout, or should I accept the invitation from the curvy brunette who wants help getting through the Chem tests..?

Hehe. Choices. Choices. There is always the third alternative - go to an-drama-da and be rejected flat-out-on because you cannot compete with software code - in terms of repeating scenes 1000 without tiring, predictability, clean and boxed-in in your place. Never complaining about being hungry again. Did you ever notice that Garrus never scratches his butt, or burp? That's all stuff that we real men can't compete with... The Escapism term has been invented for a reason...Well, now that I'm knocking out pre-reqs for schooling toward my second career, I'm finding myself surrounded by friendly 20-something co-eds in yoga pants. Off on a tangent - That's so very stereotypical -I demand that men in videogames are not depicted as objects. Wait wat? ... I can copy text from where? A Masculinist ? Is that really the pendant to feminist?
