I play only Gold and Platinum. I don't even remember the last time I played Silver. And I don't have to "try" Claymore without RC. Why would I? 

 

With N7 Lancer you need to vent regularly, and thermal clips are there to use, because I have everything maxed out and I mostly buy Jumbo Packs, so I always have 255 of them anyway.  

 

You only have to wait for one or two seconds after every 101 shots and you're back to firing again. Not a big deal. It's not like you have to reload after every shot or anything.

Depends on the kit. With some I don't need to reload after every shot (Human/Turian Soldier)

 

And reloading is not such a big problem, because 1 shot kills most things and while I reload I move and survey my surroundings. I can also use powers to delay the enemy while I reload.

 

I like the Lancer and I use it a few characters ( like the Cabal) But Claymore is really good too. So good, that for a Gold level gun it can legitimately compete with the Wraith which is UR.

Yo penguin in all seriousness the shotguns are some of the highest outputting single target guns, if you like the crusader but not the rest I'm gonna guess maybe you're just not comfortable in close quarters where the accuracy issues are minimized. The wraith is pretty awesome, almost as much damage as claymore, long range accuracy with choke, and your can use it on any kit without killing cooldowns.

Single target. Another problem. The Lancer has the magazine capacity for you to take on several enemies at the same time, unlike the Claymore.

 

The Crusader has the right balance between magazine capacity and damage that most shotguns don't have. The range is also beneficial, however. It's also quite a lag friendly gun imo, which is nice. Most shotguns aren't.

Reegar is better on the Valkyrie. Piranha is better on the GI. Otherwise, nope, all wrong. Claymoar or GTFO. All those other guns sound like trash.

Sigh.. Just trying to say you can't really put guns like Lambert and claymore side by side and say one's bad, but everyone's busting by nuts, I'm not drunk enough for bsn nonsense today

Only kit I use it on is Drell-dept/god. Movement speed to justify the timesink of running ammo boxes, but cluster grenade addiction to really push you to greater heights. Moar ammo boxes means moar spray'n'pray means moar cluster'nades. It's a vicious wonderful cycle.

 

My only lament is with my current 3-legged hamster connection faster kits are either terrible when queuing or just plain mean on my part if I'm hosting. Lose/lose.

It's great on lvl 1 characters. One power of choice, weapon dmg stat and carrier is sufficient on gold. Can't see how PUGs are still struggling out there.

My newest past-time is when I am playing as a character w decoy...and we get devices.....If I am not the one doing the device..I find the teammate who is... then pop the decoy right on top of them...( of course, I hang out to watch their back, but I just want to send them a message.....that I have my eye on them)
