Confession: I use locking people in the reactor during objective waves as a way of determining who does and doesn't have a sense of humor. Depending on the quality of the team, I might lock myself in there with them.
If I'm on a krogan I lock myself in every wave and headbutt the air like jus' don't care. (Hint: I don't.)

Once I vented the core in the middle of a data hack, stepped in with them as the AIU, and activated Repair Matrix. So I did die with them, but just temporarily.

Completing a Plat solo is on probably on top of my list to do stuff in ME3MP before MEA releases but sadly patience needs more work than my scrub-tier gameplay.
I made the mistake of clicking on this thread in between reading emails at work, could not make it past the first few posts because I had to physically cover my mouth to stop myself from bursting of laughter. plat solo is pure masochism i just dont seea point in doing it. I did gold solos ( juggy vs space nazis on white) to get that silly banner (worst of the worse) which i am not using at all!

This is precisely how we feel about the Heartbreaker banner in this household. I don't care about the UR pack rewards, I just want the Banners. Why couldn't they just make the weekend challenges non-repeatable challenges like the rest when they stopped?

Whenever a new shiny single player game comes out, the number of online players drops. It's probably Uncharted 4 doing this time.

They once explained that all the weekend challenges were manually set up, so no automated system was in place. It's a shame, because an automated weekend challenge would draw people in to keep playing.

Hehe. Thats also a good idea. I am adding it on the to do list next time I am playing on hazard glacier. Had a short melee fight vs a possessed praetorian as a geth juggernaut yesterday inside the reactor after starting the core venting procedure.

Unfortunately I don't have the links (maybe someone else does) but there's also a whole lot of fan based created banners too. You can't use them, but they are nice to look at.

Yeah you're right, Xan is also always talking about how great that game is. Plus I couldn't sleep just now so I decided to play some me3 mp and found Kobo switching to DS again. It must be some hell of a game if everyone is playing it. I know my sister loves it too but I've also heard that it's a bit difficult and I don't like when a game is too difficult, I like to enjoy it without too many do overs.

Speaking as the resident dark souls fangirl, yes you should try it out. It's not that hard really, in fact very rarely will you die because of a fault other than your own i.e no banshee magnetic hands or crab butt lazers or so. It's actually got a huge load of depth to its combat and yet is very precise. Just look at that hit box!
The levels are also very well designed, in fact devilishly so, the bosses are amazing in design and back lore, the story is great but told in a rather subtle way, you have options for some truly great co-op with even better pvp and the art design is just mindblowing. Oh and soundtrack is very moving as well!
The community, for all the pvp madness is pretty great as well and I've met a lot of pretty awesome players there. There's also tons of salty sailors but that's kind of the package and it can be funny sometimes. But despite all this praise, there's no guarantee that you'll like it of course, but it's worth a try at least Imho.
