ME3 MP Confessions

Confession: I've tried to use Reegar AIU and completely failed. The most OP kit in the game and I fucked it right up. My incompetence truly knows no bounds.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the AIU overall and have pretty decent luck with the Claymore, Wraith or Piranha on her. It's just the moment I slap on the Reegar everything goes to **** and I can feel my entire multiplayer career crumbling around me.
Have you tried the Raider on her? It's a gun I don't generally like, and a character I don't generally play, however, the combination just clicked into some magical synergy, like they were made for each other.
Personally, I hate the Reegar on her. If I want to Reegar, It's probably going to be with the Valkyrie.
I confess I haven't played anywhere near enough MP lately, been having too much fun with ME2 and stuff.

I actually haven't used the Raider on anyone but the Huntress tbh. That was a fun time.
For shotgun mastery I just used pretty much every gun except the Reegar, but now I need it for rebellion mastery so I can avoid using vorcha. ![]()

I do pretty well with an AIU Reegar, but don't use it often. I like being able to hit enemies from range when needed.
Edit: The TGI Harrier got mentioned. I hardly use the Harrier regardless of the kit. It runs out of ammo way too soon.

I don't revive during objective waves, unless the other player dies right next to me. I will also let people bleed out because of their own stupidity or when I know it'll get us a quicker extraction.

Sometimes, you just need to let the die.
Sometimes, they're more useful dead.
Harsh, but true.

I'm not mad, just being truthful. There's plenty of times where I'll run across the map to rev someone. There are just certain cases where it isn't beneficial, I expect the same in return and gel accordingly.

I've been called the team nurse because I always drop everything and run to revive everyone at every given time lol. Maybe that's why I don't get any better.... hmmmm......

Well, if you begin to survive the revive attempts and even get away without having to use an ops pack, that would be a definite sign of improvement. ![]()

Lol I don't always though, I sometimes die trying to revive but it's like I feel bad if I let people die or something. It's silly I know ![]()

Strangely enough I would say the exact opposite. Raider Valk ftw

I've given up on feeling bad when I can't risk a revive. Sometimes it's better for me AND the teammate involved--I know I, for one, hate being rezzed next to an angry praetorian. ![]()

I'm trying to apply this myself. We can't be responsible for everyone. I used to think (still do, I admit) that I'm more responsible for reviving the better players as the team would be better off if the more experience players stay alive and keep going, even if I die reviving them. Not always the case, though.
Also, especially if playing with pugs, I've now learned to do revives only when it's safe for me, or both of us, and me not wasting extra ops or gels for doing it -- why should I waste them, if they weren't going to?
Playing with friends it's different, I'll go to the moon and back for them if necessary. Funny thing is, I rarely need to do that with them. ![]()
My lessons learned: why should I use my consumables, if they won't. And first and foremost: I'm not responsible for their deaths. They can just as well revive themselves, we (can) all carry medigel for that purpose. That's one that I keep forgetting.
If they don't carry gels, it's their loss.
Tough love will do them some good.

Think of pugs as canaries, and the battlefield as a coal mine...
This one understands.

I still revive if they die next to me and the field is safe.
Some lone ranger on the other side of the map triggers me to verify whether he/she had kills on the ticker or not :
1) The scorwars and dawgs revive themselves anyway. 2) If it is young one fighting to stay alive, I'll make my way to try to revive him/her after clearing up my current volley. If he/she still dies after 3 revives in the same minute I declare it "propter vitam vivendi perdere causas" - call it a lost cause and then rather focus to finish the wave.
For AHF'ers, it is a show of great craftmenshift to revive a fellow AHF'er for a sync kill, because they are as slippery as soap.

So I should revive EVERYONE?
I LOVE animals xD I think I've begun to think a bit more like Arktinen in this, I only go out of my way to save those pugs who do the same with me, otherwise it's only friends I do that with and that's partly because they're my friends and partly because I could never really carry them if it came to that lol.
