Every sync-killer has claimed me except the scions and atlases. Banshees and praetorians are fond of doing it as soon as I'm revived, bless them. (Shout-out to Lenloumas for being the cause for 90% of these when he revives me and then runs the **** away.)
I try to throw powers, grab, shoot, stasis anything and everything in the moment, even those enemies it doesn't work on lol, I don't think about it within those few seconds, I JUST SEE RED!!!

Sanguine's quest is pretty funny too and the daedric staffs they give are pretty nifty also. Well, Sanguine's is, the Wabbajack is more of a trololol weapon but that's to be expected from the daedric prince of madness. Still enjoyed goofing around with it tho.
True true, that was a fun quest as well. Most of the other daedric lords are so pompous and boring which makes these two rather stand out! And the wabbajack got me killed more times than it should when I used it in fights but it was worth it.

Oh, I had been playing the game for several months, until played with hubby one time, and he was asking what the hell was i doing dancing around a scion like that, crazy woman... I was baffled.
It was only then that it really sank in that they can instakill you too! I'm sure Arkhne had told me about it when I started out but I forgot, and just had never been killed by them - and didn't happen that time, luckily, either.

The right thing. As long as something isn't covering a scions flanks, closing on them and deliberately getting them to go into melee mode turns them into sitting ducks.

I actually got sync-killed the other day by one. I was my warlord (of course 
) and I ran up behind the scion and bashed it. Once it turned it started it's melee strike which then I instinctively start to back up since it's setting its self up for a one hit. However when I was backing up wasn't moving because as it turns out another player was right behind me. Stupid paladin! I couldn't get away fast enough and the bastard got me. I looked like such a scrub.
My warlord also got sync'd by a scion on a ramp WHICH ISN'T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!! BIOWARE PLZ!

I was with 3 low level newbie PUGs on a Gold game the other day, so I decided to go gear up with the Medigel Transmitter. I got synch killed by something before I even got to use it, and then the rest of them wiped.
Only after switching to English language pack did I learn that the core venting warning at Reactor Hazard actually has subtitles. Russian version doesn't have them.

I've had subtitles turned off since my first SP playthrough, they're annoying af.

Well, I always use subtitles when I have the option. I have difficulty understanding what people are saying often (regardless of language settings), not to mention the sound effects or music often drowning out speech. I wouldn't say that I have particularly bad hearing (or audio comprehension), just that I often find myself needing the subtitles to follow a plot/storyline in games and movies. I feel like people don't enunciate enough, and their speeches end up sounding like turbo mumbles to me.
I can understand subtitles being annoying, too. They take up space on the screen. I've raged at some particularly large subtitles. I've also raged at some particularly badly translated subtitles (SBS in Australia has a lot of French and German movies at night, or used to, and Finnish here), oh man the bad translations, but that's another topic entirely.

Yeah, that's fair. I find them distracting, personally. Easier for me to pay attention to what's being said when I'm not seeing and hearing it simultaneously.
That said, I prefer subtitled films and shows over dubbed. That also falls under the category of just having to focus on one thing at a time. Tone and inflection are easier to pick up on in the background when I don't have to listen to the words behind them, I guess.
