May I introduce you to the Pirhanna Assault Shotgun?Sabbatine wrote...
I would kill for an auto shotgun, or at least a true semi-automatic shotgun that fires as quickly as you can pull the trigger.

Look back at our original discussions on Asari based weapons. Now try the Acolyte pistol (if you have it yet)

A Quarian pistol that fires a continuous stream of blue 'lightning.' Similar to a Reegar Carbine.
Damage: A single shot is %75 as powerful as a single RC shot. There aren't really any official stats on the wiki, thanks to that dumb new bar system for weapon stats.
Capacity: Clip size: 50. Reserve: 150
Weight: %40 as heavy as the RC.
Rate of fire: Same as the RC.
Accuracy: Very accurate. The bolt homes in on a single target.
I'm not going to give you a fancy lore description. So sue me.

So 75% damage with around 250% bigger clip and 40% of the weight? Sounds pretty OP. Especially if there is no range cap. And with homing in abilities? Might as well get rid of every other pistol and just put this thing in. You sir are just amazing at thinking up original, balanced weapons. Here's a nice cookie to eat in the corner....

Whata creative about copying a weapon and changing a few numbers? And then changing the name to make it seem different and original.

Either you could unlock the weapon and just swap it out or just get a limited supply of it through crates.

It does look like a krysae from the side, you just added a strip to connect the handle and butstock and took a piece out of the middle at the top from the krysae model, basically. so dont give me that BS it doesnt look like krysae, the changes are so minute you should just call it a modified krysae.
also if you dont know halo combat evolved... i am sorry, what was the rock called you live under? http://en.wikipedia...._Combat_Evolved
Also despite not remembering correctly where i saw a gun like that, i can see the influences in it from crysis series and couple of others. but i certainly got a deja vu feeling with it, since i haven seen too many awkward contraptions similar to that, might be section 8 too. they had some trippy **** like that.
Edit: the above 3 lines were about the shotgun.
Actually no, I also saw this guy's fanart before Rebellion. Any similarities to the Krysae or guns from other shooters are purely coincidental. So, um, "don't give me that BS". It's not hard to just compliment someone's work.

EDIT: Added illustration.
Oracle Sniper Rifle
Weight: 1.25 - 0.7
Fire Mode: Semi-automatic/delayed fire
Fire Rate: 60 (Black Widow)
Damage: Valiant
Capacty: 4 (16-26 max spare ammo)
Rarity: Gold

Lore Description:
The Oracle Sniper Rifle has a unique feature that allows it to circumvent shield gating. Upon pulling the trigger, a corrider of massless space is created between the target and the weapon, guided by a violent, forward
thrusting mass effect field that damages enemies. During this time is when a bullet is incased within the field, but not propelled, so as to allow the biotic strike to disrupt shields. After a short delay, the bullet is propelled to the target location.
If an enemy moves after the first biotic strike, the mass effect corridor can be guided by the Oracle's barrel/line of sight before the bullet projects. This can also be used to hit two separate enemies, granted that one has the reflexes and precision to do so.
Gameplay Summary:
Fire a "signal beam" that deals 40% of total weapon damage, then after 0.5 (?) seconds, fires a shot that deals the other 60% damage. After the signal beam is fired, you have two options. Manually aim the second shot, allowing you to choose where the second shot goes. Or simply unscope to allow the second shot to travel where you last scoped in. All of this uses only one bullet.
Granted that one has enough damage to do so (most likely through headshots on higher difficulties), this weapon can one shot certain/weakened shielded enemies. Deals the same amount of damage against armor as the Valiant. The slight delay makes it troublesome for moving/dodging enemies, and forces you out of cover a while longer if you want to manual adjust.

I've created a new Asari sniper rifle, since Xeraphas from the "Let's create our own content" inspired me with his other Asari weapons. I've posted this in that thread also, to spread the word.

So, yes, I've toyed a bit with the Acolyte. It does seem to mirror pretty much the intentions of the weapon we came up with with a few minor changes. Real question is now chicken & egg.
