You don't have to cast every character on this list.
You could decide that you don't want certain characters to appear in the film.

So many people tell me that Michelle Rodriguez is the best fit for Ashley Williams. Not surprised. I've seen her act. My choices are as follows.


Helen Mirren. Not sure if I can think of a better Chakwas.


My choices. (I'm currently watching a show called Alias. I felt some of the actors would be well suited to some of the roles)

Jeff "Joker" Moreau: Bradley Cooper (He played Will Tippin in Alias)
Dr Chakwas: I'm going to have to agree with Lillitheris. Helen Mirren.
Shepard: Katee Sackhoff (she played Starbuck in the remake of Battlestar Galactica)
Kaidan Alenko: James Van Der Beek
Ashley Williams: Michelle Rodriguez.
Liara T'Soni: Jennifer Garner (she is the emphatic emotional one who also kicks ass and played Sydney Bristow in Alias)
Garrus Vakarian: Robert Downey Jr.
Udnot Wrex: Dolph Lungren
Tali Zorah: Izabella Scorupco (she played Natalya Simonova in Goldeneye)


Captain Anderson: Avery Brooks (played Benjamin Siski from Deep Space 9)
Donnel Uldina: (Hard to beat Alan Rickman but I'll try) Terry O'Quinn (John Locke from Lost)

Saren: Ron Rifkin (Arvin Slone from Alias)
Matriarch Benezia: Uma Thurman
Soverign: Patrick Stuart (He voiced Locutus of Borg. Shakespere trained actor that can be very menancing.)

Asari Councillor: Claudia Black
Salarian Councillor: Kevin Weisman (played fast talking Marshall Flinkman in Alias)
Turian Councillor: Mark Alimo (played Gul Dukat. from DS9 Very arrorgant and annoying)

Captain "Hold the line" Kirrahe: Armin Shimmerman (played Quarks in Deep Space 9)


For Admiral Hackett:  Don S.Davis (General George Hammond Stargate SG1) EDIT HE'S DEAD
Please tell me Richard Dean Anderson is still alive!

Also I'm going to change my choice for Kaidan Alenko to Michael Shanks (who played Dr Daniel Jackson from Stargate SG1)

If this was the cast it actually would stand a chance of being good. The only thing I'd change is I'd just keep Seth Green as Joker. Robert Downey Jr. is probably my favorite actor right now and I know he'd do an outstanding job as Garrus.

Sadly due to the rules of this thread, Seth Green can't be cast. But honestly, no one does the pilot better than Seth Green. I played in French and German and well all the other characters were done well but Joker was ruined.

Only Seth Green can be Joker. Since Joker was based on the personality of Seth Green (I think).

Ah I guess I should've read more closely. I could see Joel McHale as a decent replacement, but Joker is Seth Green, just like TIM is Martin Sheen. For Sovereign I'd probably go with James Earl Jones.

It's quite easy to cast for Saren. So many actors out there who would do an amazing choice.

The only really challenging one is Joker.

You didn't ask for him but Admiral Hackett would have to be Sean Connery. They don't sound alike but he would still be awesome. Plus they referenced The Hunt for Red October in ME3.

Sean Connery is a brillant choice. There are loads of brillant choices for this role. Sean has shown that he is one of them. Perhaps the best.
