How about instead of doing that, which will imminently lead to enemies being buffed due to overpowered weapons, and Uncommons being left in the dust, with players who don't have the patience to grind out credits for PSPs, instead, we nerf a gun that is ridiculously overpowered?

"Gold weapons should be about equal but focus more on unique gameplay and intresting gun dynamics rather than point and shoot" 







And I believe a rare weapon should have more power or damage then other weapons that are not in the rare or above category


And that make sense, because Geth Riffle is as good as Reegar.

You're trolling. Rarity doesn't mean much for bioware. Find another reason.


Nerfing gold or ultra rare weapons to me is about nerfing the gun because you personally don't like it I will not support the idea of limiting or destroying decent or great weapons within the rare or ultra rare category

I personally think the gun is very op and takes the fun out of the game, so i just dont use it.

The weapon you use isn't an indicator of your skill.

Sometimes people just want to have fun on Gold, so they grab a strong weapon so they can faceroll it. If they want to test their skill it's as easy as grabbing another weapon.

So you can grab another weapon. It's not up to Bioware to change the game just because you don't feel capable of changing the situation yourself.


Here's the flaw with your arguement. 
Gold was not meant to be there "Just for fun" it's a challenge level and without added challenge there's no point to it's exsistence. If you want to faceroll go play bronze. If i want to test my skill and build it should be with preferred weapon. Not one that makes no sense and has bad synergy as that is silly. 

So you can play another difficulty and remain as OP as ever. It's not up to Bioware to make the game easymode just because you don't feel capabaple of taking on gold without a OP weapon.

if you feel the gun is too overpowered for it to be a RARE weapon then just don't use it


but think about it is a Arc shotgun it will have great damage and if it uses a whole clip continously then of course it will do great damage still no need to nerf a gold gun if you don't like it then just don't use it

It's not a GPS or Claymore. It's a lighter weapon, with high damage but a small clip and a "stream" fire rate. If you're running up on someone and it runs out of ammunition before that someone is dead--you are boned.

The Reegar doesn't need a nerf. It burns through ammo with a quickness, and you have to be almost point blank to really get the most out of it.

Mostly because it functions nothing like a GPS. I could have easily just said "Put it at the 2.0-1.4 weight range" since a lot of guns are in that range right now, and they aren't all GPS rekins.

The gun does have it's downsides no doubt. But they do not jusitify it's all around pwnge. IMO we should reduce it's armor damage and range a little. Maybe even reduce it's base health damage and make it an effective anti shield/barrier weapon as i think it should be.

It's my favorite weapon in the game....

Unless the nerf the weight it's probaly always going to be my favorite. I simply just ackowledge that it's A BIT over the top. 

It needs a few minor tweaks and it will be fine.

You know why the new gear slot was added so that you can add upgrades to make your character stronger or have a better chance on gold

Once again nerfing A ARC shotgun that is a rare weapons seems silly

And The new gear slot was added to make everybody have a fighting chance only gold anyway

Ammo is too easy to get to make that a signiifigant downside. And most people don't realize that it only takes a quarter of a clip to take out 1 centurion if you do it right. People burn through this faster than they need to.

The problem with armour damage is that it gets the damage reduction from a global armour damage reduction variable, so changing that would affect every weapon(and we could still just pump it full of AP effects). There isn't an armour damage modifier variable as far as I know, though the shield damage modifier for it(and overload's) is hidden from us as well, so it could be possible.

Though I do get that Kroguards would be upset about it. At the same time it feels a bit silly that my Drell Adept can use it without sacrificing any meaningful amount of cooldowns.

People want things nerf because they cant use them properly are losing kills because of the weapon, has nothing to do with it needing to be nerf rather than people not being on the top of the score chart. People that whine nerf are on the bottom of the score board, maybe i should whine nerf for Vorcha because i cant make it a beast like ive heard others can do with it. Its a simple fact people want things nerf because they cant use that item or class, if anything needs nerfing its biotic explosions. You can use that to your advantage in many matches and the method can be used to beat the game on Insanity, talk about broken.
