So this is what I would recommend for causing everything to EXPLODE EVERYWHERE.
class: Adept
Squad: Liara and Kaidan/Javik
Liara for singularity (recommend 100% cooldown of singuglarity)
Kaidan for reave and Squad Biotic Bonus
Javik for dark channel.

Powers
Lift-                      6 Radius Expose Double Pull
Throw-                6 Radius Detonate Double Throw
Singularity-          3
Warp-                  6 Detonate Expose Recharge Speed
Shockwave-        6 Radius Detonate Lifting Shockwave
Cluster Grenade- 6 Radius Damage Combo Shrapnel
Fitness-                6 Durability Barrier Recharge Fitness Expert
Biotic Mastery-     6 Damage & Force Damage & Capacity Combo Mastery

Weapon cooldown- MUST BE +200%

I am using this class on Insanity, but it makes unshielded enemies go down without firing a shot.
Shielded/armoured. Set off enough detonations around them and you'll kill them.

I used a similar setup, but i chose the sentinal class, liara and javik, The powers i use were warp, throw, and energy drain (for faster shield recovery, but it also helps set up the tech burst)this got me trough insanity in a breeze.

I did pretty much the same thing but maxxed out singularity and left shockwave at 3. I also took Reave as a bonus power because of its AOE evolution. This allows you to set up multiple detonations at once. So use reave on groups and warp on heavies.

Solid breakdown, but the Adept class is too effective as-is.

And I agree with Energy Drain for at least Kai Leng's final battle. Generally tedious on Insanity, like the few other quick-time boss battles.

Also, I never needed anything beyond the Warp/Throw combo on insanity, especially the grenades, for the Adept.
