Know what I would have liked to see?

Some actual physique.

She's an N7 marine, fer cryin' out loud! Why does FemShep have skinny little arms?

It's been shown that a female action lead can still look good with a built figure. Case in point: Korra.

I remember when I made this argument pre-release I got attacked like I said all skinny girls are wimps who can't lift their arms. One poster said she was in the military, was built like FemShep, and could "take down" a 300lb marine...

People that run their mouth like that are usually just... well... running their mouth.
Someone with the ability to do such a thing would rarely get so upset over an internet post that they had to throw a wittle fit about it. I doubt that persons ability to fight,

Nrieh: Mag boots are part of the armor, not the casual clothes/uniform. The regular crew like Joker and Chakwas don't have them.

Did you look close at any of those shoes? Well, it is probably not codexed anywhere, but it feels logical for me to use magboots every time you're on a spaceship, especially - one that is assigned for any kind of missions. In case gravity system fails, I doubt anyone would like to float around instead of doing things asap. E.g. - ME2 intro, SR1 crash, crew goes to pods and very few of them are in full suits (Alenko\\Ash only, actually). And there are some moments that could hint lack of gravity (especially - bridge deck).

IRL women used to be REQUIRED to wear skirts in the military

Ah, yes, but we were talking about style here, no? I doubt heels or even pupms are suitable for any kind of non-office active service, and skirt with knee-high rubber\\leather combat boots (as seen in some WW2 military films and documentaries)...well, not really practical and even less aesthetical.

I hear in the Japanese addition of this game, fem-Shepard got a high squeaky voice option with sailor suit school girl outfit. There's also an added octopus in the Omega DL (they already have it) for the aquarium that can become a love interest.

I agree the black dress is not what a commander of ship would wear. When Kaiden came up to see my fem-Shepard, then its ok. Of course in the Japanese addition of this game he would have to wonder if all those red hicky marks were from fem-Shepard or the pet octopus, but thats another topic.

My FemShep walks around the Normandy in a hoodie. Barefoot. Wearing boy shorts. Oh, wait... that was a weird dream I had. Nevermind.

BW, more clothing options when you're done with that nifty EC, plz. Thx.

That's her dress? Looks horrible, especially with the gold chains (the weird choker strap from ME2 was pretty awesome). The leather jacket is something that looks like it would suit her, the way she walks and sits.

Which reminds me, why is an N7 sweater the Collector item and not that epic leather jacket?

I'd be more than happy to buy this
(though it should have been in the game in the first place, it looks sexier than that hideous dress)

Yep.  I think some people have tried to mod this into the game. It's not possible as there is no femshep equivilant. It's only for broShep. This is a Photoshop job (and a very good one).  Besides, if this could be modded into the game you'd see pics like this everywhere.

I'd love to see that.

or the uniform Ashley wears. Obviously this is standard Aliance uniform, I wonder why femshep does not have one. Wouldn't that be modable since it is for female figure already?

But I have a mod that adds the bra and panties as selectable casual wear... the closest there is. it is her damned ship and nobody tells the Captain what to wear!!!111

The dress in ME2 is what I think of when I hear "cocktail dress." This one in ME3 is more of a hooker dress... O.o

So, by not possible do you mean it simply can't be modded into the game or it can be modded in but you get weird affects? (like that mod where Chakwas got an enormous head and her lower lip was pulled over her nose)

What CO walks around her ship in the middle of war time in a leather jacket?  Or a hoodie?  Or whatever that brown outfit is?

Don't most military folk dress in casuals when they're not on missions?

Way more often than in some form-fitting leather dress or suit and tie (for girl and guy in that order).

Jeans and tshirt or sweater is most common.  Maybe shorts and a simple polo-type shirt.  Sandals or sneakers.

If that's the case then they do indeed have "mag heels" since Miranda and Samara wear heels at all times. (possibly Liara and Ashley too but I don't remember)

The clothes worn on the ship aren't battle-dress. You don't see mshep charging into battle in a puffy sleeveless lumberjack vest. Also shepard dicking around the citadel should be able to wear whatever she wants. Mshep does. The dress blues would also be extremely impractical if combat broke out since in a jacket like that you can't lift your arms very far due to the way the sleeves are attached. There is no reason why manshep should be able to wear whatever he wants including pjs (hoodie), very unprofessional lumberjack outfit, and t-shirt/jeans/leather jacket yet femshep has to wear exactly the same thing as him or little kid overalls. I don't dress like a man or act like a man and I don't want my femsheps to be FORCED to do so. If you like to do so, there are plenty of outfits that are exactly the same for both genders.

Point taken, but considering that even on a regular civilian airplanes passangers are either restricted or just highly recommended not to wear high heels (and no crew is allowed to), I still doubt that spaceship (especially - military one) is any different about this matter. As for Miranda and Samara...sigh..hate to say that, but remember about artist integrity, right? Or we may just consider that those two are that cool, so that they don't care about gravity. :) Liara had flat white boots afair. And I did not have Ash in my ME3.

The clothes worn on the ship aren't battle-dress. You don't see mshep charging into battle in a puffy sleeveless lumberjack vest.

No one was talking about charging into battles, but different things may happen aboard (like collector's attack) and crew must act asap then, and I don't see heels may help with it. I know one may run on high heels (I had to, several times). But I doubt anyone would object that they don't make running (especially - on rough terrain and\\or ladders or any kind of grids on the floor) easyer.

As I see it - uniform must never affect crew's efficiency. And from that point I think ME1 uniform is way better then ME3 one with all those wierd buttons, straps, metal thingies etc.

There is no reason why manshep should be able to wear whatever he wants including pjs (hoodie), very unprofessional lumberjack outfit, and t-shirt/jeans/leather jacket yet femshep has to wear exactly the same thing as him or little kid overalls.[...]

And that's the other part of the story. Is it any surprize that femshem was always far from front character in ME series? Have you ever seen ME1\\2 femshep trailers or posters?.. No woman-like animations, sharing clothes with bro... God, she does not even have same "default" face through the series, when bro is "canonized" and real-face based... Sad truth, I know, but there is little things to do about it (especially now, when they finished series). They may still make some cheap (but not free, I guess) DLC clothes packs, but that would not fix the entire problem.

ps: but who knows, probably, N7 training includes high heels races, or even high heels parachuting or diving.. spec forces, hell, yeah! 8P

No better way to strengthen your ankles/calves lol XD

But basically I just want the option of one feminine outfit. (I liked the evening wear from Kasumi's loyalty quest) People who prefer the uniform even when shopping on the citadel would still get it but I could have something pretty (but also classy)

Ashley's uniform? You mean the catsuit? Eh, that definately isn't standard Alliance uniform otherwise we'd have seen Alliance personnel on Earth wearing it or crew on the ship, it's just something Bioware designed for her because regular looks-like-an-actual-soldier (or "manly" as some ME fans thought she was) Ashley obviously needed to be sexed up
