think about it. all the mmo's are magic and swords. none are shooters. mass effect is a rich sci-fi universe perfect for the mmo experience. theres a big niche out there in the market for this a sci-fi shooter mmorpg. theres nothing else that would be quite like it.
its an opportunity to advance the mass effect universe if set post reaper invasion. theres so much potential, the mass relays and citadel being rebuilt. the resurgent krogan, the geth and quarians working togeather, homeless batarians, worlds being rebuilt. ( i assume the best possible outcommes as people all have their favourite characters) the potential for story threads is huge!
think of the fanbase, all of us that enjoy getting sucked into the immersive story, who love the multiplayer. think of all the work done developing multiplayer characters, all the maps and locations from the campaign, the game engine and the universe itself. look at how attatched people are, the fuss kicked up about the ending. and all the people hooked on the multiplayer.
go on you know what needs to be done!!
Bioware PLEASE make a Mass Effect MMORPG!!

No, Mass Effect should stay as a single player game with some co-op multiplayer on the side. Actually I wouldn't even care if the multiplayer was gone considering how glitchy this game's multiplayer is, just keep the game as single player.

I'd play it, there hasn't been a decent sci-fi MMO since Anarchy Online. Sandbox universe, class-less characters, seamless transition from ground to space, FPS-style gameplay, SWG-style crafting.. ahh, I can dream, can't I?

I say yes because I love MMORPGs. I say no because I love Mass Effect and after seeing what they did with TOR, I don't believe they're capable of making an MMO that does the series justice.
I'd still like an RTS though.
