MMO's ruin all series. Just look at WoW and Tor. Tor gave EA worst company of 2012, worse than all those mega-corporations that exploit people and steal missions and destroy the planet.

If a Mass Effect MMO "ruined" the series in the same manner of what WoW did to Warcraft, then I would love a Mass Effect MMO.

Because I'm pretty sure being the most successful subscription MMO for 7 and a half years doesn't count as ruining anything.

It's also kind of hard to ruin star wars at this point, just saying =P

No, no matter what they try and do with a MMO it will always be a shadow of what a single player experience offers.

Didn't ruin star wars as a whole, but knights of the old republic, well that could be a different story.

God no, that would totally kill ME series for me....You know...even more than now. Plus, relays are destroyed, that is pretty much the end :D

They killed the universe with the ending ... the ego of the writers cost Bioware untold millions of dollars ...

I say yes. Its not like Bioware writers are any good at writing compelling storylines to justify single player campaigns anymore.

YESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYES YYYYYEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS!

I, and many others STILL play NWN1, and NWN2, but I would MUCH rather play something similar in the ME Universe

I'd only support an MMO set sometime between the First Contact War and the events of ME1. Otherwise, no.

They could easily place it during the 2 years that Shepard was being rebuilt, or during Mass Effect 1 or 2.

or they could even pull a ToR and just place it a few hundread years on either side of the trilogy story arc.

Though since Bioware is already maintaining ToR, I imagine we wont be getting a Mass Effect MMO announced any time soon.

I love KotOR and KotOR II, but I haven't even played SW:TOR and I have no intention of doing so.

The same would be true for any mass effect MMO attempt.

On one side of the arc, humanity would be struggling with inter country disputes  and warfare, and do not have any vessels capable of making it past the moon.  On the other, everyone is recovering from the utter destruction of the galactic transportation medium they grew accustomed to using.  I dont think its quite the same situation.

Bad idea. Swtor is horrendous. We need a new ME trilogy.

They delayed the release of ME3 and still had to cram in the ending, TOR launched when it wasn't ready either. This is an EA outfit now, not BioWare.

I thought they discarded that Idea. besides I would prefer them finish or start the movie first.
