Anyone believing otherwise is a fool. Control allows the civilized races of the galaxy to rebuild their losses and, indeed, even exceed their former glory under the guidance of humanity's potent Reaper fleet. With infinite resources and power, no race of savages like the Yahg, Vorcha, or, worst of all, the Krogan, will ever be able to threaten the galaxy again, as their existence will no longer be endured  Synthetics will never again threaten the sanctity of organic life as they will all be crushed under the might of humanity's Reaper fleet. It is greater than destroy which only results in the destruction of the most revolutionary assets to humanity in history: the Reapers. The only positive outcome is that destroy does away with the abominable geth and EDI. Synthesis is also an affront to the reason and dignity of humanity and civilized organic life as a whole. It would sully this dignity by transforming precious organics into souless, half-synthetic monstrosities. Therefore, if you are of a wise and rational mind, you will accept the most apparently rational choice which the gracious Cataylst can bestow: not that of simple minded destruction, an action worthy of Krogan, or abhorrent synthesis, no, you will accept control.http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg403/scaled.php?server=403&filename=20111030074510reaperfle.png&res=landing

They are not valid and only a fool would believe otherwise.

It isn't "humanity's Reaper fleet", it's Shepard's.

And Shepard is a human. Moral Shepards would use the fleet for the good of their species first and foremost.

Because there aren't any other intelligent and sapient species out there.

Wait, I shouldn't have said that. You would take me seriously.

"Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely." That is why Control can't be an option for me.

Secondly star-brat even says, "If you think you can control US", so it sticks around?! No way, we already know it controls the Reapers. What makes you think you'd keep permanent control?

Caligula was murdered by his own guard.

Sic semper tyrannis.

Caligula would have chosen Control.

Do you know the way to San Jose?

Alright, I'll play. How do you even know for sure Shepard can control them, Catty?

No it's not Shepard's Reaper fleet. It's still Starbrat's. Shepard is just trying to be Starbrat's mommy or daddy. Do you THINK you can control Starbrat? For eternity?

I accept control. I die and lose everything I have. I become one with the Reaper conciousness and, persuaded by the Star Kid's compelling arguments, soon decide that the cycle must continue.

Sorry about that. But the rest of you will be happy after you're pureeded together to make a new Reaper. Trust me. I know.

I appreciate your reasoning but disagree with your reasons. Humanity's mailed fist need not crush those unfortunate enough to oppose us when a swift slap can be most persuasive, and with the formidable yet awkwardly pronounced Reaper Peace Keepers ensuring and enforcing a just galaxy for all there will be no need for petty squabbles. Paragon Shepard's final gift is a new galactic order, all watched over by machines of loving grace.

I could see some value in using the Reaper fleet not to destroy the Yahg, Vorcha, and Krogan, but making them slaves instead. So you make a good point in my opinion.

Little does the Alliance know, the Reapers prioritized all of their cranes, so as to make life very inconvenient for them.

Well, up until they murder them, anyway.
