I hate the endings too. That doesn't mean that I should doubt that they are genuine.

That is only the tip of the iceburg in the Indoctrination Theory.

The fact that the star brat is a form of Reaper tech or conciousness should already throw up red flags that he isn't out to help you, he is out to misdirect you in order for his kind to survive.

If there are three candidates for an office, I can't say I won't vote for candidate A because he doesn't support tax cuts, when neither candidate B nor C support tax cuts either. 

That's not a valid criticism of candidate A in comparison to his fellow candidates.

control is great if you are willing to take the risk that it will work and that it wont cause more war from people not knowing that the reapers are under your control and trying to fight them over and over again along with people living in fear of what the reapers are doing. destroy is the best option i would rather send everyone back to the stone age and know the reapers are finished then take any chances.

Like I said (Idiot), I'm specifically calling out Control because that is the focus of the thread. If the thread were about Synthesis or Destroy, then I would discuss them at large. I've already told you how I think Destroy and Synthesis are implausible, so what exactly are you trying to tell me?

If I were talking to a biology professor, and suddenly shifted the conversation to military history, how would I be, in any way, contributing to the discussion?

We are comparing the merits of Control to Synthesis and Destroy. That is the difference. If you can't see the difference and admit that you can't criticize one specifically for the flaws shared by all of them, then you should just stop posting because I will be done dealing with such a dim mind. 

Except s/he is not championing destroy or synthesis, just opposing control. S/he has no need to mention either of the other two choices

Your entire argument is based on speculation. On maybes, mights, and possibilities, on impossible to verify deception.

I'm simply taking the game at face value. Just like I did at every other part of the entire series, and no one ever doubted that viewpoint until they hated the ending.

The only thing which you can do is accept that the Cataylst is telling the truth, or make up whatever the hell you want. 

I dont have any headcanon. I'm simply following what the Cataylst says. It says the Reapers will obey me, therefore they will.
