 Anyone else having this issue?    

Just started a new game after finishing up ME2.  I get to Mars and as soon as I get done leveling up my characters and exit the menu.   It locks up.    When I load the last save it doesn't freeze up until later sometime in the game.  

I don't have to do a hard restart.  I press the PS button and quit the game.

I had this problem before with my last playthrough.  I have only beaten the game once and have 2 more started. 


I have all the updates.

Now everytime I go to level up it freezes, but not when I load it back up. I'll deal with having to save it before I level up, but I hope this gets addressed in the next patch or something.

Hhhhmmmmm. I have cleaned my PS3 (inside and out) after this problem occurred and haven't tried playing it. I'll give it a whirl.

So I did some work on my PS3. It's pretty old. My friend and I took it apart and WOW! Dust bunny heaven. I do take the vacuum to it, but never took it apart. I vacuumed it out and replaced the liquid stuff (can't remember off the top of my head). Ever since it hasn't been freezing up. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I get the occasional polygon spike, but hey, it's old. Thought I'd throw this out there. Thanks!!!
