Besides all my party members, who go without saying.

I'd like to see Cullen (he's so crazy), Sgt. Kylon, Dagna (she's adorable), and of course Teagan.

I would prefer a tiger or some other cat. I hate dogs and I usually skip or just kill the Dog in the game.

And People wonder why dogs and cats hate one another...

I'm hoping you continue as your character in DA2. Even if they are no longer party members, I'd like a cameo appearance or at least some sort of closure on most of my party members - where they went, what they did if it was any different than the epilogue. Two characters that need to return are Allistar, Morrigan, and Flemeth regardless of what you did with them in the game. The two are too integral to the central plot line. I wouldn't mind seeing an appearance from The Architect (didn't appear in the game, but in the book The Calling)

Actually, the night I finished my first play-through of the game (technically my second play, the first was too bugged both by my own screw ups and bugs), I had a really vivid dream. It was spawned by that index card at the end, that Zevran (since I told him he could stay with me), Dog and my elf mage Chancellor went to Weisshaupt to spring the King of Ferelden from the Grey Wardens' imprisonment since Alistair wouldn't tell them how we got out of dying. I think that would actually be kind of fun to play through.

As far as characters, if you have the same PC, I wouldn't mind Sgt. Kylon (just because he thinks we're bad---es) or Cullen (for my elf mage) or Teagan (for my Cousland rogue). Heck, Flemeth in whatever form she gets after you kill her would be an awesome party member for an evil/neutral PC. She wouldn't be full power, so nerfing her wouldn't be a crime. (At least, her chosen vessel escaped so she had to settle for some random Chasind, probably. If you play so that you believe Flemeth has not yet taken over Morrigan.)

Flemeth needs to have returned somehow. I'd say that Sten needs to make an appearance, hopefully leading the Qunari invasion. I'd also like to see Conner and possibly Shale. The others aren't likely to make it. Dog will have to be dead, but puppies could happen. Oghren is already ageing and I don't see him playing a big role in the next game. Morrigan almost certainly will play a big role in the plot, but I doubt you'll see much of her in person. Alistair will likely be having troubles with his taint by then. Wynne will have to be dead. As for Zeveran and Leianela I'm not sure enough about their futures to see how they'll fit in the future.

I imagine Bioware could probably keep your PC as a character and let you continue your story not too long after this game ended if they simply put you in an entirely different land (which is likely). In that case the story only has to have references to what happened back in Ferelden while still allowing for some vagueness for all those different decisions that could've been made. If this game truly is a succesor to Baldur's Gate, half the fun of that game series was taking your character from a piddly little loser who ran from wolves to someone who regularly wrecked semi-divine characters. I, for one, hope for some level of continuity...

I was gonna say Alistair but then it occurred to me that both the PC and Alistair has just about 30 years left to live before they go fragging in the Deep Roads and die :ph34r:. (That is for players who had the PC live at the ending)

I suppose the only way we can see any of the original companions will be if the sequel is set shortly/immediately after the events of DA:O.

So unless the sequel is set shortly after the events of DA:O, we won't be seeing any of the original companions I suppose.

saying none of them is bit far fetched as not all them has the taint and theres morrigan

Well think of it like this XOGHunter246, if the PC and Alistair has gone to the Deep Roads, we can assume about 20-30 years have passed. Oh I really liked Wynne too. She was the grandmotherly type just as Alistair said so..but won't the companions be a bit too old by then?

@XOGHunter246

Oh yes! Avernus was awesome. I hope Dog is in the sequel like that lol. Point taken dude. But I for one hope that the sequel won't be set so quickly after the events of this game. But I suppose that's hoping for too much.

But what I do know is that I'll be content with whatever Bioware comes up with :)

What others have said before (especially with Shayle, Dagna, Isabella), and I'm so curious about what happened to Wynne's son.
