Well, for me right?

Strongest for me:
1. Asari Vanguard with Claymore.
2. Vorcha Sentinel.
3. Human Vanguard.
4. Batarian Soldier
5. Geth Engineer.

Actually with the "worst" you can solo as well, but in my opinion they are just not compatible with my playstyle, but soloing with them is doable ( I've done it )

Worst:
1. Phoenix Adept
2. Quarian Engineer
3. Batarian Sentinel
4. Drell adept
5.Drell Vanguard

Yeah, no boss-busting powers or weapons. I'll let you switch the SMG to a weapon that has a chance against armor, but not so good that it lets you skip using the pulse rifle entirely. Say the Falcon? Talon? I'm not as familiar with the damage reduction on gold, as I almost always play silver.

This + the only attacks he can use are Pull and Melee.  No Reave or any other powers, and no weapons.

And no infiltrator in the strongest and no krogan vanguard.. may be to OP for you or not good for your playstile ?

Also i don't see the krogan soldier or sentinelle in your worst choise, I'm curious to see how you would with one of those two because they are really weak..

drell vanguard hornet and eagle with no attachments. Firebase Condor vs Geth. max everything but cluster nades which are left at 0. spec pull into everything top row, and biotic charge without weapon synergy or barrier. spec everything else the way you want too but the last point in fitness has to be melee. have fun.

For most of people is simply bad, I don't know why, can you tell me why for you was bad?

In my case it is one of my most powerful builds because of two reasons:

1-I love Claymore and I feel so so powerful when it shoots.
2- Because of my playstyle, I tend to play a little different, I mean, I tend to use the characters in a weird way, I hardly ever agree with others in the way to spec a character, but i respect them in their builds, it's only that for me their build does not work, because every build is made with the base fo your playstyle, at least in my case. An example of that is that I do not use Bio charge as most of players do, you know, bio charge, power,  biocharge, I use it to clean mobs.

I'm not a big fan of infiltrators, they are only easy to use, but not as powerful as most of player think, I can kill faster with a Human Soldier than Infiltrator for example.

Actually I soloed gold in 19 minutes with a Batarian Soldier, lot of people thought that I was cheating because i didn't use equipment of any kind ( it was luck ) but the thing is, I can clean a map easier with non infiltrator classes, another example is Geth Engineer, for me is more powerful than the infiltrator.

Actually the Krogan soldier is very powerful and it can set up and detonate its own fire explosions without any ammo aquipment, which means that in the good hands it will be able to handle big crowds.
Why you think it's weak?

About the Sentinel is the same than the soldier but with more powerful granades.

I think that the problem with most of players with krogan is that they want to spec them in melee, i'm not sure about this but this would be a reason.

In my case I don't use fitness in a Krogan, it has 1000 shields, and I use to handle with 250, 1000 is more than enough.


But please, tell me, why you think that the combo of AV with claymore is bad?, also, why your opinion about krogans?

I'm really interested in seeing your tactics with a Krogan Sentinel against Geth. Claymore and Revenant, though honestly any fully automatic AR works. (I prefer the Falcon to the automatic rifles, but that only works on Silver when closing to Melee ISN'T suicide...)

I'm not really trying to come up with a challenge here, I just can't make the class work for me on Gold. The stuns kill me every time.

A Talon is no challenge... Probably the best pistola in the game chief.

Do you skip Fitness entirely then? It looks like you aren't a fan of shields or melee.

AV with Claymore is something a lot of people don't like, just because they associate Vanguards with power spam.  Obviously, when you're carrying around something like the Claymore, you can't use powers as often as with a Predator.  That's a turn-off for a lot of people, especially on a class whose utility lies in it's powers.

I haven't tried AV w/ Claymore before, I think I'll give it a shot.  How do you spec yours?

And I think most people have a negative opinion of Krogans, understandably, because of stun-lock.

Yes claymore weights a lot, you can't spam power. And i thinking you must use power for maximise that classe. May be i'm wrong.

The krogan is very slow and easily stagger - stun-lock. Carnage alone don't do a much of damage and have little AOE, may be i can't utilise it right. Coupled with god inferno grenade may be.. but grenade is limited..

Batarian sentinelle too, stagger - stun-lock and can't dodge. Submission net is hard to pull of at 100% and shockwave.. may be with the update ?

I like to see one video with your krogan-batarian. The ennemie comes at you in mass and you can't esquive. it's them or you, killed or be killed. It's nice but when i tried this class, i be killed more than i kill. And i don't like that

But i agree with you for the batarian sodier, one of the best and more satisfying class in ME3.
Indeed it would be great if you could do a little guide to use the batarian soldier at is maximum, it is one of the most fun to play. Unless you have started already explained elsewhere how to maximise this character ?

The first mistake is relay too much in powers, while you use a power to make an enemy weakier, I can kill it with a claymore shot, what I want to say is, you have to learn how to manage the cooldown time and know when is properly to use a power, i have stasis with 6 seconds to recharge, so I learned how to use my powers with wisedom.

About Batarian sentinel you can use tech burst every 4-5 seconds depending on your weapons with sub net and then shockwave.

I haven't tried AV w/ Claymore before, I think I'll give it a shot.  How do you spec yours?

Human adept (original). I find this class pretty underrated on gold and want to see if it's up to a solo.

I'd recommend a 4/6/6/?/? build for powers:
Singularity: 4-Radius
Warp: 4-Detonate, 5-Expose, 6-Pierce
Shockwave: 4-Force, 5-Detonate, 6-Lift

(I've heard the 4-radius evolution causes the bug where shockwave stops working as a detonator.)

I usually run a hurricane with AP ammo but gun and final build are up to you. In the spirit of the challenge try to keep it a "power-based" build with high cooldown bonus.

I really want to see a Vorcha solo gold. I just find the Vorcha characters to be a liability. Prove me wrong! Any weapon choice apart from the Harrier.
