I've been saying this for a while, Shepard was never "ours".

If that is the case, then it isn't very cool that Bioware kept on telling us that Shepard was ours in order to sell the product.  But then... Surprise surprise.  An organisation stretching the truth in order to sell a product. :pinched: Doh!....

You're right. It was never your Shepard. MY Shepard is canon.

I'm just at the end of my second play-through of 3, playing as a renegade Shepard.
playing as her in 1 and 2 was SO different from my paragon playthroughs of those games and really made replaying into a great experience, but in 3 it barely felt different at all. I don't know if any of my other shepards are going to get a run-through of 3. It's almost pointless once you've played it once. Not to mention that without the hype and excitement of playing through the first time, you really start to notice the wear and tear around the edges of the game. It feels a little unfinished/underdeveloped. :(

Just a tip for you...renegade, paragon, paragrade, it all ends PRECISELY the same.  Your renegade run ends all RGB like a paragon run like a paragrade run.  In other words, there was (and can be) NO reason to make any character-based decisions at any point in the series because they are all equal.  1=1=1

And this was one of my major disappointments, along with the lack of closure, the kid and the rest of the ending sickness.  i didn't want to pick an ending, I wanted the choices I had made in the last two games and the choices I made in ME3 to pick my ending.  Very disappointing.  There is no reason to play any of the 10 - 12 Shepards to see the different endings because there are none, not really.
