Destroy. It had been the goal since game 1, and if that meant going renegade, then so be it.

:pinched: NOT RENEGADE!!!

I know! But I didn't figure that out until later, so on my first play through that was my reasoning.

Destroy each and every time. I'm glad Shepard didn't 'accidentally' walk into the beam, we'd all be synthetically screwed.

I initially dismissed Synthesis, and after thinking for a bit decided on Control, because logically it seemed the most acceptable option.

Then as I was limping away slowly, I changed my mind and started walking down the Destroy path. It wasn't logical, in fact Destroy seemed far worse, but it was just a gut thing. Control seemed a little too convenient, and I figured, even though I hated the idea of destroying the Geth, destroy would at least end the Reaper threat once and for all. Also seeing Anderson at Destroy and the Illusive Man at Control swayed me. It didn't feel right.

When I saw the breathing scene at the end, I at first assumed everyone got it, until I started looking at the forums and talking to other people.

I was so confused by the fact the game hadn't already ended that I really didn't know what to do. I like the color green so I tried the middle path. I had no idea about the hell that awaited me there.

You took a painful path across, but still well done

I'll admit. I choked up at the last 3 choices.

I was mostly barraged with questions. Confused.

My first thought was Synthesis. But from what I think, anything with Reapers is not good. So I decided to agree with Anderson and destroyed them.

Also kinda felt iffy about that Starchild.

I chose destroy, with the other options I feel like I'm letting the Reapers win and giving them what they want.

I had two choices in my first play-through (as I never import my first playthrough). I went for the "paragon" option. Once I realized what actually was in front of Shepard, I looked to the other option, which I realized, then, was the destroy option and not the blue option, but it was so far away and had taken so long just to get to the blue option. I went ahead and did control. I reloaded and, then, chose destroy.

It would not have been my choice if I had been paying closer attention. I think I was still trying to make sense of what was happening.

What if you went back and changed it because you got confused and chose a different option from the one you had wanted to choose? I was tired, it was early morning and give me a break, the stuff the Starchild spouts makes no sense and is hella confusing. I hadn't even understood the Mass Relays blew up in any case.

Synthesis, without even thinking about the other two. Destroying the Geth, or implying that I could lose Control over the years? No way. The Galaxy needed a drastic change.

That happened to me. I put down what actually happened over what I intended to happen. (It took me so long to get Shepard to that path. I didn't feel like making him limp to the other side once I saw what was in front of him. It's not the choice I intended to make, but it's the choice I ended up having so that's what I answered.

From what I remember I just went from left to right one after another. Seriously, whose idea was it to autosave right at the point where you can't choose another option? I had to listen to the star kid 3 times.

I accidentally chose synthesis cause the whole ending was just so confusing, but i replayed instantly and chose destroy as you are supposed to.

Destroy because there is no way I'm working with the universes greatest mass murderer and sociopath, other wise know as star brat/casper the plot device/catalyst.

destroy because I always meta game and Shepard's survival means to me more than the Geth's and EDI's

Also...face it...the enemy's general is basically giving you the choices so yeah I'm gonna make sure he is dead

^This^ Exactly.

Destroy, first, last and always.

"Dead Reapers is how we win this."

I chose control.  I never really dissagreed with the illusive man.  I just didn't like the way he went about things.

Synthesis seemed like space rape to me, and i just made peace between the geth and quarians so destroy was out of the question.    Sheppard is not god so both synthesis and destroy are a bit too drastic and one sided.

Control is the only option that accomplishes what you've been trying to do the whole game.  End the reaper threat and save all the civilizations.     Its the only 'good' ending of the three.

Destroy because it's the only slightly feasible option.

My first playthrough - Synthesis. And the second I realised what I'd done I went back and replayed the ending to pick destroy and get the 'Shepalive' easter egg, Too late according to the ME3 legend save :|

Destroy, didn't even hesitate on that one. Starbrat was too quick to give reasons not to pick destroy which made the choice easy.

1st time.
Charater full paragon.
->
Destroy endding.

Second time:
Same charater
->
Destroy endding.

Third time:
Same charater
->
Destroy endding.

I would have prefer to have one endding like in ME1 (sovereign destruction) instead of three colors :P.

Synthesis.

I was confused out of my mind, but that option sounded like the one that took the most EMS to unlock (and I did just spend the entire game doing every stupid sidequest and hours of horde mode), so I went that route. I immediately regretted that decision when I saw my squad mates and their hilarious green cyborg glow.

Synthesis. I had read about the endings in the spoilers group.. I was curious of how they presented/explained Synthesis. I didn't really learn much.

Destroy. The jarring change in tone already left me seeing red.
