Perhaps next time, they should have test the patch before release. I mean, the ULM bug, the tactical cloak bug, and the vanguard bug etc etc can all be tested very easily by getting into a real game.
This. I also doubt they even once play tested this patch.

Well no personally, Reave sound bug is the best thing ever of all time.
But I agree with everything else, I can't relate to the matchmaking thing, my N7 is about 550, but if people are having problems with it, then it's whatever. It kind of sickens me that the Multiplayer EA forced into their game(s) they publish don't even get a proper patch.

Ok, I can relate to the Reave sound bug. But it's fully possible to revert most of the changes and keep the beneficial and cosmetic changes like the Reave sound fix.
And if it's not possible I would rather live with the Reave remixes than deal with patch 1.03 anyday.

The patch doesn't fix what it claims to do and instead breaks evem more stuff, especially matchmaking. So yeah, rollback. Especially if 1.04 would again take months to come out, I'd rather wait playing 1.02 instead of 1.03.
This game will be a ghost town if the current matchmaking system stays for the months it takes to make 1.04

Because on Gold, you barely get to make it to an ammo box and back to your position in time. And god help you if you have to go to multiple boxes to get grenades.
This issue is extremely noticable on Condor where the ammo boxes are set far away from the best starting position on top of the hill. It's better to wait for the next wave to start before going and getting ammo so you don't accidentally allow a spawn to occur on the top of the hill.
There is literally NO breathing room between waves now. Which is a bad thing for the most part. I was fine with the pacing of the match before these changes.
The ammo crates of Condor are the problem, not necessarily the faster waves. Ammo has also never been an issue for me until I unlocked the new Harrier which has ****** poor ammo capacity. You can also use the ammo packs for those rare times you run out of ammunition. Having said that, I don't like camping and usually run around to map searching for new enemies. I have no problem to replenish ammo and grenades along the way. But I guess it can become an issue when the team tries to hold a good defensible position.
If many people don't like the faster waves it should be fairly easy to add an option to the mission settings so everyone can play a match on their preferable pace.

I can't agree with TC. only the matchmaking is a problem. Hence I made that topic. Everything else is fine for me.

I agree with you BOTH. problem is, how do we know they can roll back the matchmaking without rolling back the patch?
The matchmaking needs fixed NOW or this game is done. If the patch goes down to achieve that, so be it.

This. N7 Matchmaking is hurting the game far worse than the minor annoyances of 1.02 ever were. Pretty soon, it's be a wasteland, like in Fallout... but not as cool.

Faster wave times = irrelvevant
Mutliplayer 1 hr wait time = gamebreaker

My N7 is 1560 or 1580... I can't remember. As I don't really care. But anyway, when I do a Matchmaking search for Gold games... ALL I can get now is FBWGG. It can take me now over an hour to find a non-FBWGG game.
For the people that would say "Search for a specific enemy or map then!" that doesn't work. Search for Cerberus... still land in FBWGG, search for Goddess... never find a lobby.
That's ridiculous. An HOUR.
Please, give me Patch 1.02 back, this 1.03 crap is just painful. I don't even want to play the game without my friends on anymore... and they are showing up less and less... I wonder why?

F*** no!. The framerate slowdown was fixed(for me) on the PS3. Not to mention the Falcon is now useful and games are a LOT quicker. These are all problems that can be fixed in due time. You just have to wait for them to fix these issues.
"Petition to rollback to Patch 1.02.. "sigh"
This post is pure lies.
I play PS3 and DNC is right
I play on the PS3 as well and like I said, the framerate slowdown has been fixed FOR ME. I haven't experienced since the patch was released.

Longer wait means my team has a chance to hit-up an ammo box, get grenades from multiple ammo boxes if they need to, AND still get back to their positions.
Shorter wait means more intensity and more credits/time unit.
And you still have enough time to headbutt between waves.
Kronner, it's an insignificant difference. Overall match time is still 20-25 minutes per match to full extraction.
Even were there a noticeable difference between the before and after, it's a whopping couple of minutes at most. Frankly, you're only going to notice that if you're playing more than 8 hours at a time or you're not playing at all and just running numbers.
Also, you don't earn more credits and it still takes the same ammount of time to get to the end. The only difference is what you consider is a more intense match which is a local effect unique and different from player to player.
It's not intesity where rounds become harder to win due to tactics change, number increases, boss level frequency by the enemy or say lower effeciency of ammo over the course of a match.

Rolling back is a silly idea. The kishok is not useless and Primes dieing in more than two shots is not an issue.
Krysae, Black Widow, Widow, Mantis. All of the mentioned snipers are now better than the Kishock. It has no relevence and no redeeming qualities now.
And a GI with a Javelin can still two shot a Prime.
And that's a fact.

Normally, I think statements like "if X isn't fixed, this game is done" to be ridiculous hyperbole, but in this case, I think it's appropriate. I've been playing a lot less since the patch and I'm not sure how long my patience will last.
If they're able to revert the change without a client update, this is all moot, but I don't think that's the case.
