No thanks. The issue is the new DLC, not the patch. Rolling back now would only make things worse. I know this because the couple days between the DLC release and the patch on the 360 were far worse bug-wise.

There was only one thing that the patch affected concerning the DLC. And that was the Gear equipment slot becoming unequiped.

Other than that, the patch had no relevence towards the DLC at all. <_<

Wrong.  After the DLC but before the patch came out, the game was freezing constantly and there were really bad garphical glitches happening with Overload and some other powers, at least for me and a few others.  They got much better after the patch.  You have to realize that the DLC was likely diesigned with the patch in place on internal servers, so removing it makes the game much less stable.

By October/November myself and lots of other people will have moved on to other games. For example : Borderlands 2, Assassins creed 3, Halo 4, and the new COD.

Don't forget Doom 3 BFG Edition :P .

Bioware has sold its soul to the careless EA so we cant EVER expect them to fix there bugs. Roll back to the least buggy is the bare minimum we can hope for. But this is a limb of EA so... we will probably never get even that let alone them to admit they ****ed up with 1.03 and made things worse.

i agree this patch brought many more problems. but instead of taking it off would it really be to much to ask for bioware to just fix the game right

Creating patch 1.04 would make more sense than rolling back to 1.02, I expect things would be even worse without the new one. But I agree with many of the sentiments - a lot that was supposed to be fixed, isn't.

Also, gear may not unequip between matches (a pre-emptive measure apparently), but is it just me or does it still unequip every time you quit the game? I keep having to re-equip gear.

Definitely go back to longer times between waves too, it's far too constrained now - especially if you're unlucky enough to end up on a below average team.

Lol its like they only brought the irritating stuff from the latest patch and never gave a **** about including the positive things. Make a patch 1.04 to balance things out again, Bioware. You have my Sword, threadmaker!

Ok this is even annoying me now: I can't stand EA, and I hate that they bought out BioWare. But can people please stop bashing for it? I'm sure BioWare have heard it all before, and it can hardly endear us to them if we keep saying stuff like this.

BioWare still usually seem to listen more than most devs, and maybe I'm just naive but if I were them I'd be a little more inclined to listen and act if people didn't write them off just because they have a less-than-popular (to put it lightly) parent company. The constant bashing achieves nothing, particularly on a thread with the obvious aim of getting their attention!

I think that 1.03 brought a lot good to the table, the ONLY bad thing it brought is the N7 matchmaking thing.

The ULM for SMGs does work better now, just not completly.

They listen to us?  Really?

There is outcry for months regarding constant character cards in packs that we don't need, they ignore us.

There is outcry regarding many of the AR's and SMG's doing squat for damage, and they give many of them token 10% buffs, completely failing to address the issue properly.

There are many power evolutions that simply don't work and haven't worked since the beta, and despite our complaints, most of them still haven't been fixed after three patches.

Most players who have maxed out the rares have been calling for an very expensive pack with guaranteed ultra rare for months, and, despite having one in the system, they refuse to release any such thing.

Seriously, the notion that BW listens to us more than other devlopers is laughable.

I'm not disagreeing that they've screwed up, or haven't fixed things they were supposed to - you're absolutely right about that. I'm only saying in my experience I haven't seen any other devs (except maybe the Guild Wars dev) take any notice of fan feedback at all.

I also agree BioWare could - and should - do more, but I was questioning the sense in constantly bashing BW because of EA in a thread demanding action from them.

They've cocked up, badly in some cases, but why would they care if all we do is criticise them unconstructively? Again - your points are constructive & specific cases regarding glitches, bugs and problems, and I agree with you, it's the EA-based crap that's pointless and unhelpful.

It's got to go. I had choice between two gold matches last night and it took an hour to host my own lobby. FBWGG, and Random game that kicked me as soon as I entered the lobby and then spent the next 30 min asking me to come back and stalking my own lobby. So basically I had a choice of playing with 6 other players last night. 3 of which didn;t want me then couldn't wait to get me to play with them. And even that new matchmaking system couldn't find people, the one lobby was two 800 players and n7 53.

Part of me wonders how many players this patch has chased off.

Fair enough.  There really are no lack of specific issues to complain about, so going the EA-hate route really is kind of silly.

I find myself barely playing since the patch since it is almost impossible for me to host a match and when I do search for one I always get in with people that seem to suck. Not to mention that I get the Tactical Cloak glitching and my powers hitting but not doing anything a lot more often in 1.03

BW... you heard about Blizzard losing a large customer base for WoW Cata because they first made it too hard and then made it too easy... basically no middle ground.

You heard how Riot games lost about 500,000 players 3 months ago for LoL because they listen to the competition level players about how to "rebalance" mechanics and the game as a whole?

If its not broken dont fix it. If it is broken fix it right.

Stop trying to rebalance things when you know that the easiest thing to do to make everyone happy is add in a Platinum mode that will keep the inexperienced players playing comfortably and the experienced players playing something they REALLY want.

Platinum Mode Rewards: 1.5 x More Exp. as Gold, Same amount of Credits and a N7 "Voucher", 10 N7 Vouchers would allow you to purchase an Ultra Rare of your choosing or random, or each voucher could be traded in for 15,000 credits.

Long run Goals: CoOp missions... not just small battle arenas but full blown Campaign sized levels with actual unique goals for the respective level... cooperative tasks... and even if you fancy it an actual "Boss-like" character to deal with.

Just roll back the last patch or you may suffer the same fate as tose previously mentioned companies.

Listen BioWare never did wrong by me until...

A) EA bought them and
B) Replaced Drew K. as lead writter with Mac W. - about 50% of the time I was expecting Harbinger to pop up mid mission throughout my play through and say "Shepard... I am your father."

other than that Bioware has done no wrong by me...

the only EA title that was an AQUIRED asscet that I trully enjoyed was Emperor: Battle for Dune

Also, Concussive Shot Amplication STILL DOES NOT WORK. Add that to the list.

Thank you, I can't believe I left that one out. :pinched:
