Protheans had the VI to release them from their statis pods and even then they were set to be released after the Reapers had gone back to dark space.

They could say that the VI malfunctioned, or something along those lines. The fact is that if Bioware want to add Protheans, they'll find a way.

The King Scorpion: Salarian made, yet another charge up shotgun, medium damage, but when charged, the pellets are like the regular scorpion shots, but weaker with a smaller explosion radius. It would be good against one target uncharged, but also good for clearing low level grunts when fully charged.

I don't think that a vanguard should have lift grenades as a third power... I would prefer something cooler and more original. Especially since it's protheans.

I thought ardat yakshi were turned into banshees. Maybe a matriarch asari instead?
For the drell, maybe tactical cloak, proximity mine/neural shock, and for your drell mode thing, he can infuse biotics into his melee- this takes away from barriers which weakens them but increases melee to five times the damage of batarian/krogan heavy melee for like five seconds and it can set up and detonate biotic explosions.
With the antimatter thing the antimatter would make a huge explosion because wen matter and antimatter touch they explode like a nuke and even small amount make explosions that can be like a mini nuke. Might be a bit over powered then.
For the geth sentinel you could use a geth destroyer from me1 (mass effect wiki).
For the geth soldier maybe they could have a laser beam type deal instead of a flamer because that's vorcha specific. Also ur would fit geth more. Maybe it is pinpoint accurate but is like a shotgun where it does most damage at close range but it's damage quickly drops due to light spreading out. Also give them 1000/400 shield/health to keep in style of geth, or it might be a bit too good for melee builds.

Some new enemies would be REALLY nice. I do like getting new weapons and characters.

And... Where are the ravenous robot dogs? Why are they not trying to grind my face off with shredders?

I support fighting the Collectors and a Mercenary coalition. Especially the Mercenaries. I always enjoy fighting Cerberus due to the sheer diversity of their units, and a Blood Pack/Blue Suns/Eclipse coalition could easily surpass that. IIRC they were even roughly divided along Combat/Tech/Biotic lines in ME2. At the very least, I remember Blood Pack using lots of armor, Blue Suns lots of tech and shields, and Eclipse used tech as well but was the only group with barriers and biotics. LOKI/FENRIS/YMIR mechs would be interesting Sabotage targets as well.

You do realise they need someoone who is part prothean to be able to open up the locks on the statis pods, Commander Shepard is the only person with the cipher to open them.

The Cipher is just to know the language, but others can learn it too and Shepard/Javik could easy teach others how to open such pods...

But I somehow like Javik to be the only Prothean :-)

ardat yakshi are turned into banshees but i seriously doubt every single ardat yakshi was at the monastery in SP. they could be in cities all over the galaxy like how morinth was on omega.

  that would be a cool idea for the drell. it might make the regular clusters more practical too, but im not sure we need more clusters on a drell....

about the antimatter,  maybe the change to antimatter could take time. the power would dmg over time and on smaller it would be easier to convert because they have less mass. it would deal instant damage after a few seconds like sabotage. on bossses its just damage over time. it can set up biotic explosions too. instant cast power

people want a quarian sentinel i think so that was a sentinel idea. biotic quarians are rare but do exist. my idea for him wasnt very good though

for the geth soldier, i was thinking of something very sleek but kinda bulky. a prototype model since the theme of my dlc was unusual characters. i like the laser idea and your dissipitating damage idea. it could be changed to another fragile geth and given higher base speed. the laser wouldnt hinder his speed either....maybe give him hunter mode for even higher speed since he is fragile and fast in my mind. he doesnt have cloak and the turret to heal him either so extra speed seems nice (i like to go fast)

Still not sure if the ardat yakshi would work, because nearly all the ardat yakshi have been turned into banshees, and even if there were some who were living alone in cities or killing like morinth, I doubt there would be enough of them to make a very big group. 
And on the antimatter thing, I'm pretty sure the antimatter thing is an instantaneous change. And even if only one particle was turned into anti matter, it would explode anyway because of the normal matter surrounding it would touch it and make a decent explosion, and it would disappear before the next particle can be made into antimatter. However, I think this idea can still be used. Say you put an antimatter field around the target. It turns one particle at a time into antimater at a rate of one particle per second. This creates an explosion every second and the explosion could be same a krysae shot in damage terms. The effect would last for 5 seconds, and the power would have like a 8 second recharge time.

We have agreed on 3 weapons in general:
The Venom asault rifle(3 round burst, 150 damage, low recoil, 12 rounds)
the light machine gun in the OP
and a fully automatic shotgun.

Concept art is needed for the Venom and Shotgun.

I'd rather have new everything (enemies, maps, characters and weapons) with people whining about how guns and characters are overpowered instead of new everything except weapons, with people complaining about how a character is too weak or too good, a map is too terrible or even. why there werent any weapons in the dlc.

I've thought of new game mode it called Hunt where enemy forces will use the entire force to kill a certain person on your team and if he dies the game it over no revives allowed for the target and it will last for a minute
