after watching a N7 1.5k and a N7 2.5k try to boot my N7 720 because i outscore them.... yes remove the silly scores. any compettive system in a Co-op gametype is a magnet for breeding hostility.
Do we want Bioware to remove our match scores?

NO. It's fine the way it is. I want the game to track MORE stats, not less.

The score system does determine the XP you get though. I suppose the game could just track it surreptitiously. Like all the other stats BW collects.
I wouldn't miss it though. It just pisses me off tbh. Nothing I can do about leechers ingame and you can find out if they leech via medals. Terribads too.

I support this. To much whining going on about kill stealing, weapons and classes that should be nerfed. People thinking they are OP. People thinking they should go Rambo because they arent outscoring.
It might be for the best..

Yes. Competition is not cooperation.
Oh and I think half the nerf threads are started by people butthurt over being outscored.

If this gets removed, I won't miss it.
However, I do bring it up and use it to confirm if someone is leeching.

But how would people’s E-peen grow?
Seriously though I would be for it, it would eliminate a lot of crap I bet.

I wish it was only shown at the end of a match. Since I realised you can view it from the menu a few months back I cant help but look at the end of each round. I hate that I do it but its become a habit now. I play as a team player but I cant help but be spurred into rambo mode if Im not on top or at least second.
I think they should have more team medals that can be earned. Imagine getting gold medals all round for 50 biotic explosions or tech bursts. Even better to get some bonus creds for not having anyone bleed out in a match. These would encourage teamplay and make people try harder to revive team mates. Might even stop the stingy crowd from bleeding out rather than pop a medigel when the team cant get to them.

I want the score to stay.
It's like a second game in the game.
I wish doing the objective granted way more points though, and there is always the problem of doing spawn control, it can cripple your score.

You really think getting rid of a scoreboard is going to get rid of competition / idiots?
Dream on.
It's information, which could be more finely tweaked. How you use that information is up to you. You don't even have to look at the scoreboard if you don't want to. Why does it bother you so much if people like the scoreboard?
Hint : Those idiots who use the scoreboard to make fun of others or brag would just find some other way to do it without actual scores.

No. Stupid score fans are funny. I let them die in most cases.
It mark them be near useless for teamwork. After match they leave for searching their Death Squad
In any case, if they really good players - why not? I don't want suffering from players lack.

I like the score - it pushes me to switch up my play style, going for so many melee kills, biotic kills, head shots, etc. I think that they should add to the scoreboard, showing things like objectives contributed to (hack points, objects recovered, devices deactivated), as well as deaths and takedowns. Sure that Novaguard might think that he's hot **** with his high score, but if it's plain for everyone to see that he died a dozen times and was of no help during hack objectives the luster of a high score might start to fade, and it may even shame him into being a team player.

- Scores don't matter. Don't look at the scoreboard. This is co-op, what matters is helping one another. Only n00bs care about scores. Haha I never look.
- Ok then, let's get rid of scores.
- NOOOOOOOOOO!
Tasty hypocrisy.

No. Score may not be that great for figuring out who's contributing the most, but it's useful for figuring out leachers and terribads. Also for figuring out when my own build is lacking.
I use it to benchmark my own progress.

There could be a lobby option. With or without scoreboard. Those who want to compete with others, can join/set lobbies with that option. Shouldn't be a big deal

I think a choice for the host to turn on score wouldn't be a bad feature

i think they should remove the ability to check it while you are in the game, but still show the after game report.

yes it should be for the best, just leave the medals that underline the different approach to the game in a descriptive way (revives, melee kills, tech-biotic powers or guns used)

I like the score, helps me evaluate my own preformance, if i got a small score (and not playing with a team of biotics) i step up my game to help the team.

During the match they should show the team score and then at the end individual scores. Would fix most of the problems people have I think.

No, because you can't spot leechers with a team score.
