Nope. I haven't done that in a while now actually. I'm starting to worry a little.

I wanted to after I saw what they did to romanced Jacobs. Does that count?

Yeah romancing Jacob can be annoying.

No I didn't cry. But all of the deaths got me choked up.

Thane Krios
Mordin Solus
Legion
Tali Zorah
Udnot Wrex (I couldn't sabotage the genophage so I watched a youtube video. Is that cheating?)

Mordin and Legion had me close to tears and Liara a couple of times.

Forgot, the Thane scene was also very sad but at least he went down doing his job.

Grunt's near death experience, Mordin's sacrifice, Liara's visit to the my cabin with the data capsule for the next cycle, Legion's death...all made me shed a little tear. But, like a couple of other people have noted, I bawled when I finished. Maybe it was because my first play through was completed in just two marathon sittings over the weekend, and I was knackered by the end. I was emotionally devastated, knowing that after everything Shephard had been through, I couldn't save him...and the ramifications of the ending seemed so cruel after all of the sacrifices that had been made. I have never been effected in that way by a game before. Mass Effect will always be very special to me.

Only sad cries for me were when my cousin and grandfather died (separately). Only happy cries I have had were when my daughters were born (again separately). No video game can get me to that kind of emotion. Mordin's final scene would be the closest I would come.

When I thought Grunt had died I was so sad that I nearly cried. When he stumbled out of that cave covered in gore and asked for food I was so happy that I do believe that I did.

The saddest moment in the game for me was (it caught me off guard) when I was knocking out the fetch quests, and I informed the Asari at the Citadel gift shop that her husband had died. I hadn't paid attention and didn't realize her mate was the lovesick Krogan poet. Her reaction was very convincing. She was good in ME2, too, when you give her advice on Charr. I guess for someone who didn't play ME2 it was probably just a throwaway moment with little poignancy.

And I guess I shouldn't have been surprised, either, to learn that it was Weekes who wrote these two in ME2/3.

Yes, a lot in fact.

Not because they were sad... those moments make me sad too, but I don't cry.
But because there was something behind them, something warm and happy.
Like Mordin's death, it was something inevitable, but then before he dies, he was singing, he was proud of the cure, he was proud of correcting the mistake, he was proud of himself. I simply cried of happyness. Or Thane's death, he was there dying slowly, and his son wanted to pray with Shep, a pray dedicated to Shep, for him to be safe. I couldn't hold my tears any longer.

There were a lot of "teary eyed" moments. Liara's gift and time box, EDI's thanks, Legion "I", Garrus' goodbye...

Sad or bad moments usually result in anger or sadness, but happy moments, moments of love, friendship or caring are the ones that make me feel warm and "softy".

Nope, most of the scenes felt forced for me, not that I blame them, they had to for the players joining the train, i guess.
The kid was laughably cheap and cheesy, mordin's was not very well done IMO, and I won't go into *spoilers* for obvious end related reasons.
The only scene I found relatively well done was Thane's death.

But I've seen/read way better, guess that made me difficult.

I'm halfway through my first playthrough, and I found a few scenes to be very touching and/or poignant. No tears yet though, but my eyes have been misty.

Too many times actually, and I choked up on moments that were not even that epic or important. My first playthrough was rather emotional.

Mine were: the Normandy leaving Earth, Ashley getting injured and Shepard carrying her on board the Normandy, Grunt's "near" death, the entire Genophage cure mission, Thane's death, Legions death, Ash and Shepards final goodbye before the final assault in London.

Liara's LI scene I was getting emotional, Garrus' goodbye I was getting upset... Liara's goodbye just finished me off... it was so, so sad.

Even sadder in hindsight...

**** me, I was nearly in tears the whole time, both sadness and joy.

Nearly every mission had some intense moment of emotion.  I felt drained after some sessions.

1st playthough I didn't have enough paragon/reputation on Rannoch.  No spoilers allowed but you know what happens there.

So I'm standing there, on that rock, with one particular dead friend on the floor and the other off the edge of a cliff.  :crying:

Personal worst weepy moment was probably Liara's reaction to 'little wings', that whole story was handled beautifully.

"Liara!"
"Oh, fine!"

Man, I'm an old sap at heart.

When I thought Grunt was going to die, when Jona's father died, during that last conversation with Garrus, and when Anderson died. Then there was the end.....lots of bitter, bitter tears, like a waterfall.

I've never been of the crying kind when it comes to entertainment stuff, though I've been quite close to it in 2 moments in my life. First one, when in Stargate Atlantis, Carson dies and later on Rodney has this chat (not sure if it was his imagination or what) with him about how he was the only real friend he ever had. The second, with ME3, when on Earth, Liara says this beautiful goodbye by joining their minds in a wonderful scenario.

Finding out about Kelly.
Thane's death.

Did anyone feel sad when you had to kill wrex if you didn't cure the genophage?

It was one of the lesser know moments that made really sad, anyone else?
