Unh... I don't normally cry over video games, but yes... a lot of instances.  Mordin's death, tears of joy when Grunt walked out of that cave, and when Legion died...

"Legion... the answer to your question... was 'yes'"
"I know, Tali... Keelah Se'lai."  :crying:

I teared up a bit when the shuttles got hit by the Reaper beam in the Leaving Earth tutorial mission. The beautiful and sad piano music added to the impact.
Also when Mordin died to cure the genophage.

Not so much at the end, because the despair is more or less entrenched at that point.

I wept like a woman as Mordin sang. He didn't get to finish the song :(

While for me the game fell short in many ways story-wise from the beginning to the abysmal ending, there were still some really well done moments that the voice actors nailed that came close to becoming tear jerkers. The one scene that definately brought a tear to my eye was David's scene in the Academy tho'. The music, his VA, his dilalogue...all beautifully done, imho.

I got choked up on the emotional moments, but I only got a single tear from my Mongolian sidekick on Thane's death, and the revelation that the prayer was for you.

I think we are all crying babies and we should give thanks to Bioware for making so many emotional and moving scenes.

Never cried as a result of seeing something happen on Mass Effect 3, but moments that particularly struck with me emotionally were:

The kid at the beginning, although I must emphasise this was only when I first saw this when playing through the Demo.

Mordin sacrificing himself to cure the Genophage.

The moment where Sheperd tries to crawl to the Control Panel just before going up the Magic Elevator. When she stopped crawling and laid down with what appeared to be no movement from herself, I was genuinely concerned for at least a few seconds that she had died at this point.

Shed a tear or two when I thought Grunt died but the bastard came back. Mordin's death didn't upset me dramatically 'cause his time was nigh regardless, it was more of a damn, that's an awesome way to go moment.

Other than that the only time I came close to crying in the whole trilogy was during the credits of Mass Effect 2, but they were more tears of "My god, that was the most epic **** I've ever done in a video game, holy crap"

Nope. I have yet to cry from a video game, ever.

Films and TV, yes. Video games, no.

I likely would have cried at Thane's death, as I cried at Legion's, Mordin's, almost any of the middle section where any kind of character I liked (or race) was saved in some way. The game was very good catharis for me. I needed a good cry. I don't think anything moved me after Jack/Sanctuary though. It didn't make me cry, but was effective in motivating me further. I couldn't cry at Thane's death as he got killed in the suicide mission in the second game (I had something go awry in the loyalty mission for him and didn't feel like replaying through that tracking section, so left it alone). To be honest though, I've been crying at a lot lately. Even just reading a good review of a game or cartoon can move me to tears.

Tuchanka and Rannoch were full of touching moments:
Mordin's sacrifice, Eve's speech, ♥Tali and Shepard♥, Legion's death.

There was several other moments through the game.

I wonder if anyone has romanced Jack in ME2, didn't do the Grissom Academy mission, then cried when they got to the Cronos Station and saw the Phantom. I might have cried if that happened to me.

Mordins death and Grunts "Suicide run" made me cry a bit. Also in the "leaving earth" scene on my first play through, when the kid dies... That was pretty brutal...

"Would have liked to run tests on seashells."

That one almost got me.

(I have mentioned a personal connection to the Alzheimer's woman. That's a different matter, though.)

Mordin's renegade death, legions death, and surprisingly wrex's death, seeing the krogan who'd become something of a second best freind to shepard get gunned down hit me right in the chest for some reason.

Especially when he starts cursing you and his own foolishness for thinking you were his friend, That hurt me.

No, I wanted to though. I'm sure I would have bawled if I killed Tali on Rannoch though

Anderson's send off got to me. Just because shepard and the old man have been through so much together.

Shine on Mordin.. shine on you crazy salarian scientist.
