That is not us you are hearing, it is the Reapers playing around with their new plaything. Its a problem you and the rest of the once proud Cerberus is encountering, I'm sure.
See you on the other side of my sights, you Reaper-twisted freak of nature.

Dear Roland,
I hope you made it out of Noveria in one piece. I've had a few close calls there myself. Just a few days ago I had to retrieve a package from the back offices and the Krogan battlemaster who said he would watch me decided he would rather chase after a Nemesis he kept missing with his heavy melee. I took a shot from a Phantom who surprised me but my barriers held out okay. Good thing I practiced a little with Liara T'Soni when I lived on Ilium. She told me my barriers needed some practice, but not as much practice as her former secretary. I didn't ask.
I find there's no better race to have watching your back than a Turian. They will literally lay down their lives rather than let you fall first. Krogan get easily distracted, Drell make one wrong move and they're gasping on the floor, Salarians will drop you if it seems the tide is turning, humans always have to be the hero. No offense.
Well, I look forward to seeing you on the Citadel. I hear I have a mission in the Terminus systems and one on Sur'Kesh soon, but then I have shore leave for a week. I'll be at the Citadel then, and Goddess willing, our schedules will match up.
With anticipation,
Leena
I'm afraid we're still stationed here on Noveria. Reaper forces keep pouring in, we've been taking heavy losses. I'm surprised this terminal is still working, actually. Come to think of it I think I'm the last of the original group here. We lost our Salarian on Day Four, that Turian died on Day Eleven while guarding a krogan who was carrying a cannister with...something in it ( I never really pay attention to the details, I just go and do my job.). We lost that Krogan Yesterday, actually. Pushed one of those brutes over a railing while a husk clung to him, and the three went tumbling earthbound.
I hope you were able to fix your 'fashion dilhemna' however, could sure get my armor cleaned and re-painted. It used to be the standard color: Metallic Blue with white stripes on the front, and a dark under armor...right now it's just sorta scratched, burned, and...well, whatever color those things bleed.
There's only three of us left here right now; Myself, an asari, and I think a Batarian (never thought I'd be working with one of them but- He's not that bad after all.). I'm just glad it's quiet for the time being. I hope I'll get shore leave soon, but until then I'm glad I have some sort of connection to the outside world.
With Regards,
Roland.
I might be seeing you on Noveria soon, as I am scheduled to be deployed within the week to reinforce human soldiers holding a facility against a Cerberus counterattack. If you want to find me, just look for the deep blue armor with golden stripes overlaid by an additional layer of technical armor. I'll be the one both zapping and warping anything in sight, with lots of Hurricane fire in between. Should you need an escort, or even just covering fire while you freeze a Phantom, don't be afraid to give me a shout. On that topic, blending in with the enemy, and the walls, is always a good idea so I would recommend white everywhere for your armor.
Sincerely,
Pahlas Sehtarn
P.S.: If I switch to the stick that I carry as a backup weapon, please cover me for an ammo run. Thanks!

This is us attaching a personality to our iconic characters in MP, and making terminal calls with said characters. *Shrugs* not everyone's cup of tea, I suppose. We're trying to keep things in this thread inside the "Fourth Wall".
This thread is somewhat unique and ejoyable, I hope it doesn't die out.

I understand that in the current state of the galaxy, an Asari must be prepared to make certain sacrifices that she would not otherwise contemplate. Total war makes many things seem trivial in comparison.
But by the Goddess, this Asari must know which fashion house came up with the tiger-striped, rubber and latex mesh atrocity that she is accursed with wearing into every enemy engagement. While the tactical benefits of Nemeses and Phantoms stopping to ridicule the walking eyesore I have become cannot be underestimated, I do not know whether it is worth the cost of being friendzoned by every man I meet in N7. (Shamefully, this includes Vorcha as well.)
While I am still a maiden, I'm entering my third century and starting to feel my biological clock ticking. If we all make it through this, I would like to settle down and start a family one day, and constantly running around in what looks like a BDSM costume may be attracting the wrong type of people. Also, I do not need a strap of duct tape under my breasts for support; I know we call our military units commandos but really.
I would be interested in knowing whether any of my Asari sisters have succeeded in turning lemons into lemonade as the human saying goes, and managed to make this uniform look at least passable rather than patently fugly. Pics or color schemes would be most divinely appreciated.

Since you mentioned it, my Asari wear what is essentially ass-less chaps. If you make the secondary color match the skin tone you really do have a BDSM costume. The seam that runs down the butt really makes me wonder if this was intentional by someone in the art department that worked too many late nights.

Can't quite put my finger on why I think that though.

I should also mention that now I run an elite squad of BDSM costume-wearing Asari since I showed my friends how ridiculous it looks (especially from the front). I can dig further into this conspiracy by saying that the pattern on the Asari outfit looks uncannily like the pattern on their skin (take a careful look at Liara's skin in cutscene's to understand what I mean), thus making the "ass-less" and front-less part of the outfit look even more like bare skin. Considering this is coming from the same people that hand-crafted and subsequently made every attempt to show off what is in my signature really makes me question if this is just a coincidence or some really weird easter-egg-thingy.

Dear Leena,
I am sorry that you have to put up with replies like this. The Werloc clan is notably lacking in intelligence, which you can see in the fact that Stoyhaus was using a human keyboard to reply. There are keyboards custom-tooled for any species from turian to human to salarian to even elcor. The Krogan keyboard I'm currently using had to be custom-tooled however, as not many companies expect a Krogan to have any need of typing, which is quite the unfortunate stereotype. Hopefully this will all change with Bakara and the Urdnot Clan leading the future of the krogan.
As my brethern attempted to state, I would highly recommend some kind of Fortification-based passive protection such as Tech Armour or Fortification. Maybe you could even generate a barrier with your biotic abilitiies? I'm not sure how you would feel about the power increasing the time that you have to wait before using your powers as I have noticed that Asari usually rely very heavily on their biotics in combat. Then again I'm fairly sure that you can modifiy protective armours to decrease this time but at the cost of how effective it blocks damage. Either way, those abilities I listed previously will give you added protection and help conceal your suit. I would look into it, as I use a Fortification-series armour enhancement and it has saved my life multiple times.
Sincerly,
Urdnot Viagron, Krogan Soldier.

You seem to have forgotten about Urdnot Wrex in your summation of your people's leadership. But then again, I believe Wrex did say something about the other males not liking him being equally as powerful as Bakara.
But be glad Wrex is there. Without him, I do believe the krogan would have a sexism problem on their hands. Matriarchy isn't as cool as it might sound to some of the womenfolk out there.
But to Leena: the nature of the suit seems (from what I hear on the channels) to help with the aggressive use (some would say spamming) of biotic attacks, whereas the Justicar's uniform has a somewhat more protective bent, as the justicar's fighting style tends toward a somewhat "magical knight" style, except with biotics and guns, not swords and sorcery. Of course, this sacrifices protection, and can cause some of the more perverted types *coughmyfriendSusancough* to occasionally sneak a glance. Personally, if someone's staring at me, I wouldn't care. As long as they don't touch, and keep their eyes front during missions. But other than that one turian - Gavorn maybe? Name escapes me, though apparently he's well known among the vorcha forces - I haven't had that "problem". Morale boost and all that. Need that in times like this, especially since Shepard can only be in one place at a time.
I understand your issue, though. Not everyone is that type.
Chris - Broker Infiltrator - team "Andonuts" - human
An aside to my good friend, Urdnot Kretch:
Yes, we get that it's cool to call our ship the Sky Runner, because the leader of our group is named Jeff, and naming the team as such - insist that Susan wear a purple uniform, because she's a shotgun infiltrator and "da purplez makez ya dead sneaky!" and give our quarian not-so-techy "Ninten's scarf, signed in the 21st Earth century by Shigasato Itoi" - but we all draw the line at having our battle cry be "For Narnia!"
Seriously. Even nerds have standards. And you are probably the only krogan who even knows what Earthbound is, let alone has played it through ten times. Sometimes during games of 40k, no less. Don't get me wrong, though. The other ideas are genuinely awesome. That last one's just going too far, though.

While I can only commend the Alliance for issuing us sensible armor, I sometimes wish they were a bit more flattering, especially for us, human women. I mean, what good are all these lipsticks and nail polish vials Alliance Command send us in premium Spectre packs if nobody ever has a chance of seing it?
I understand that our various foes do not give a damn about which colour I chose for my nails today, but as a very up close and personnal person, I'd like to show off from time to time. I admit being very admirative, and at times, envious of your lighter, more revealing body suits (my friend Dorya, Krogan Battlemaster, said as much yestersday, seeing as she is often mistaken as a male in her full armor).
There will be a time for settling down, but this is not here nor now, and if the one you chose to be your bondmate really loves you, he/she will be proud of your service during the war no matter what. So my advice is, if you have it, flaunt it. We don't know if we'll make it, so we might as well fight with as much flair as possible.

I sympathise with you for your...let's say, "interesting" looking standard issue light armour, but you must look at the advantages such a design brings. It's light, tight design allows you complete freedom of movement in battle. Turian armour is so heavy it prevents us from moving much at all! And since nobody thought to tell logistics that the reapers are using armour piercing ammuntion, we don't even have that much more protection compared to your catsuits. Techinicians, such as myself, have found ways to add additional plating, but overall, yours is still better.
So keep your chin up ma'am! And don't mention that flexibility around krogan; it seems to really bother them for some reason.

To my friend from Kahje,
*sigh* I have a confession to make: when I am deployed with a Drell in my squad, my performance in battle suffers greatly. Oh no, please don't take that the wrong way--your people are exceptional operatives, some of the finest in the galaxy. I hope that that statement, coming from a graduate of the University of Serrice Matriarch Erotima School of Military History and a 64-year veteran of the 15th Division Commandos (The Violet Sunfish!), carries some weight.
The reason I say that is I simply cannot take my eyes off of you and your kin while on the battlefield. Your physiology is so flexible, yet durable; you choose your battle attire to emphasize your advantages of agility, grace, speed and, dare I say it, sex appeal. In this way you could be compared to the Asari: while we are known throughout the galaxy as some of its most skilled soldiers, we also understand the advantages of persuasion, flirtation and seduction. Truly, both our peoples understand that love is a battlefield.
Happily for you, the Hanar grant your kind great freedom in your apparel; much more freedom, in fact, than the Asari matriarchs permit me. Perhaps the Hanar understand the suave animal magnetism the Drell can exert when displaying a bit of their chests--an advantage I believe the Asari should also use for our benefit.
For now, I will continue to admire you from a discreet distance, and at appropriate times, while maintaining my focus on the life-and-death situations we encounter as a matter of course these dark days.
Warm wishes,
Leena

and your fellow adepts, how can YOU complain about your uniforms?
What shoud I say?
At least you have a light protection that you can color the way you wish and it actually covers your body without leaving vital parts exposed. The other Justicar's uniforms would be even better for me, since they look more serious and undoubtedly provide more protection. But no, the Matriarchs, Goddess protect them, won't let me change my outfit since it's one of the oldest models and it serves to show my "elite" status.
Sigh.
But I won't complain, it would not be proper to do so as a Justicar.
Just remember, youngsters, compared to some of us you are actually lucky.
Yours truly,Justicar Samara
