Honestly the only class I don't like the appearance options for are the batarians. I can't come up with any color schemes that look like they fit to me.

I usually have my asari in neutral colors or Dark Blues / Purples.

 Dear Leena
and your fellow adepts, how can YOU complain about your uniforms?
What shoud I say?
At least you have a light protection that you can color the way you wish and it actually covers your body without leaving vital parts exposed. The other Justicar's uniforms would be even better for me, since they look more serious and undoubtedly provide more protection. But no, the Matriarchs, Goddess protect them, won't let me change my outfit since it's one of the oldest models and it serves to show my "elite" status.
Sigh.
But I won't complain, it would not be proper to do so as a Justicar.
Just remember, youngsters, compared to some of us you are actually lucky.
Yours truly,Justicar Samara

To Justicar Samara,

Haaaaaay gurl! Dis be Justicar Laquisha! You rememba me? We was takin' dose Reapas on Thessia! Gurl, I be lovin' yo outfit! Da armor I be wearin' be protective but it don't be givin' me dat sexy appeals. One Turian was said dat I be lookin' like I be old! I be like "Yo! I be six hunded fitty seen years old!" (657) Yo clothes be lookin' nice on yous and be showin' off yo body. I say good fo' you gurlfriend? Can I be borrowin' dat armor? Thanks gurl!

Sincerly,
Justicar Laquisha

I call my Batarian Sentinel Spiderman and make him Red and Blue. My friend's Batarian Soldier is Batman and all black.

Talk about a coincidence. I do exactly the same.

Sentinel, primary red, highlight red, secondary blue... I have not unlocked the rest yet, but that will be very spidey.
As for the soldier, I go for black, black, yellow, pattern that gives the kind of wings on the back and in yellow. Lights are white. It's batman enough for my taste :)

I went with black/black armor (on Batarian it is dark grey rather than black), dark grey for secondary, camouflage in white and blue lights. I'm using Claymore with choke on him, so I have black batarian with white stripes and blue lights equipped with black shotgun with white stripes and blue lights. Looks pretty decent.

The batarian looks OK. I mean he will be better than the vorcha wearing a pink speedo I played with earlier today.

Dear Leena.
Hello this is Krang from the base. One of your friends from your unit came by with the same problem. We took her outfit and pretty much laced it with oranges yellows and white. Unfortunately we couldn't work out anything about the leather straps just for the love of Kalros's giant egg sacks don't color the secondary part of your uniform blue or a blue close to your skin color, it makes the asari... how do I put this mildly... umm... questionable? Yes most definetly questionable.

I know that bright colors aren't really good camo but bear with it Reapers see us anyway, Geth seem to scan and track for heat signatures and the Cerberus forces seem to have infrared sensors embedded into their helmets.

So think bright! BRIGHT COLORS! SUMMER COLORS!
Sincerely: your fashion sensitive Krogan sentinel friend Krang.

PS. Can I borrow your watercolors I crushed mine. Also if you got any art supplies or crayons I'd love to have em my roommate keeps eating them... damn vorcha.

Leena,
I do believe it is customary among certain cultures for males to offer their jackets to females in their times of need. I assure you I do not need mine. It is black and orange, so be sure to take that into consideration when picking the undersuit.

Regards,
Korbush, Drell Adept

PS: If you find any grenades in the jacket pockets, please return them to the address inside the inner pocket. I need them.

Dear Leena,

Believe me when I tell you that I should understand the importance of one's apparell better than most. As you know, Quarians spend our entire lives inside suits and behind masks, and the inability to personalize can be maddening (and occasionally embarrasing) at times. We've made sort of a cultural habit of decorating our clothing.

Unfortunately, I dont think that I would be able to send you one of our female suits, materials are scarce enough out here, so far from the flotilla. I'm not sure of how much good it would do you anyway, I don't think your hips would support it (no offence). Actually it might cause even more problems what with this "bumbum" fad going around (I swear, as if it wasn't hard enough to get a girl without all the bloody humans and geth chasing after them as well).

On terms of coloration however, I think that with your particular armor, a base of either dark blue or black would go nicely with a thin orange-gold strip 2 around the seams. I can definately see how that secondary color might get you...unwanted attention... so I'd advise leaving it black or brown. Hope that you will find this of some help.

Best Regards,
Kreggor Alcof vas Quib Quib

As a Turian, I completely agree with my kinsman. We may have reach, but you Asari certainly have flexibility.

Wait, that is actually combat armor? I thought that the Asari I saw out there were... Nevermind, I'd rather not get another singularity slapped on my ass. Why is it every time an Asari thinks that someone touched them they instantly blame the infiltrator?

Well, the Illusive Man made any woman with decent curves wear white catsuits. They were hideously impractical, but damn if it didn't get our attention. Maybe white with some parts of your armor in dark grey or black would be a good place to start. Then again, I constantly get friendly fire because of my armor, so maybe that isn't the best idea (really need to ditch the white and yellow).

Dear Leena,

I'm out here on the Far Rim, which lives up to its name.  The Reapers cut off communications so yes, it took 23 days for me to see this.  You'd think with all the fighting, there wouldn't be time to talk about this stuff, but it isn't like there's time to do much between waves of enemies other than think about practicality of the gear I am wearing.

Now, I don't know about you, but apparently the Asari here says part of her armor's look is functionality.  That's what the Alliance tells me about my soldier outfit.  Particularly the mask, which is supposed to be so intimidating, it influences people I interact with.  Maybe that's because of two things:

1)  Nobody can bother to locate an electronic eyepiece anywhere near my actual eyes, and,

2)  My face is so hard mashed into this mask, that every time I speak it sounds like I am speaking though teeth grinding in anger

The other Alliance Infiltrator has to help me down the stairs.  There's a Krogan Vanguard in the same situation as me, but honestly, I think he doesn't care. I'm not going to lie...Asari look good to me in skin tight outfits.  I think my shoulders look extra broad in mine.  But yes, if functionality is what you are looking for, I understand what you are talking about.  You know, if there's yet another reason to not join Cerberus, you should look at the stuff they put on their heads.  I'm wondering if a Nemesis has a sensor on the side of her head, or they actually surgically relocated an eye to her ear.

Hey, while you are asking about gear that makes sense, could you please put in a word to send us a crate of, I don't know, any weapon that is better than an Avenger?  And please, tell them an Eagle does not count.  We've heard about it, even way out here.

Good luck with fighting Reapers not only in style, but in comfort,

Jason Royce,
Alliance Soldier

Dear Asari,

Have you considered the multitude of sins that can be concealed with a good shield? It can also be used as a sledge on ice planets. Ocean world? Surf's up!

Best wishes, and thanks for distracting those snipers.

Leena,

You should just wear all black. It's dangerous and mysterious.

All of my asari rock out in gold. Set the primary color to black, and set the highlight to a yellow, and you get a pretty good gold effect.
I then add some blue pattern for the adepts, and purple pattern for the vanguard.
And of course, the secondary color has to be light blue;)

Dear Leena,

I completely understand your concerns, but in quiet the opposite way. I tend to stick to cover most of the times, and when I pop out of it the enemy only sees some refraction in the air... right before a flash comes out of it with a high caliber metal slug to someone's unfortunate face.

Because of that, my armor has almost no scratches on it, and the ones it has, are on the shoulders and other non-vital areas, mostly because these plates slow me down that 0.05 second that would be enough to energy drain that big clumsy Centurion.

I tried raising this question to Major Kirrahe, and suggesting that a much lighter suit would be really appreciated, since those cloaking modules they shipped to our STG unit were quiet messed-up (probably another Volus-made low budget crap), overheating in half the time they used to, and we just need to run faster in order to avoid Geth rocketeers that are wielding now these nasty double-barrel rocket launchers (Geth assigned to our N7 team seem to have "no data available" about this tech).

So I suggested Kirrahe that we should probably take the Asari Commando's path and try your extremely ergonomic suits design, even the drell seem to have no trouble with their trenchcoats and literally their chests exposed. But... even though I have the deepest respect for our Major, sometimes his old-fashioned way of thincking is just beyond my comprehension. "If we have to hold the line at any costs, I will rather have an uncomfortable-feeling sniper with a few scratches on his armor than a shoulder pierced operative with another operative slapping medigel at him!". Textually his words... (looks like Dr. Solus was right after all, the Major seems to have a foreign object in his rectum).

I admit our armor is fairly well designed, but last time I was on Tuchanka, while covering that Krogan carrying lost Reaper tech, I couldn't help but admire the grace and speed our Drell and Asari were showing while dodging brutes and simultaneously detonating the Banshees, Ravagers, Marauders, husks and cannibals that were not been reached yet by my rifle.

And as a suggestion to you, the Commando I mentioned before, Lairea, was wearing an extremely beautiful yet intimidating colour set, primarily black, then she had light purple/blue as her secondary, and i beleive the second type pattern in bright red. Then, when the shuttle extrated us all, Lairea said that she owes me a dinner for shooting that Brute's head off right before it charged at her while she had no barriers. Well, I hope we get to enjoy it when we kick these abomination out of our homes)

Sincerely, Samek Kit'Rous, STG N7 Operative.

Actually, I think some silver plates ontop of the leather armor would look badass, and fit the Asari.

We could maybe take the current Asari Adept leather armor, and attach a chestplate, shoulderguard, gloves, frontal leg-guards and some boots.

We could also give them a silk Loincloth infront, carrying some Asari emblem, maybe their famous traingle, because that'd make them look pretty awesome!

Make all colors Black (Primary, Highlight, Secondary, etc.) Then make the pattern color Stripe 2 (I think, by the end of this comment, you'll know which pattern when you see it) then make the pattern color a bright cyan, orange, or pink/magenta/lavender (Your choice). Finish by naming it "Tronsari"

P.S. For alternate color schemes, another name I like is "Asari Ohno" or "Liara Ohno" (See: Apollo Ohno, ice speed-skater olympian; compare: Apollo speed-skating with asari forward dodge)

Dear Asari,

With how often Asari rely on Biotic Barriers to keep them safe instead of actual armor, it's a wonder you don't see more of them running around naked, for all the good their outfits do protecting them.

Be glad you actually get to wear something that's both professional and casual. While I rather like my armor, it's not exactly something you can slip into a bar for a few drinks wearing.

Julius Crozier, Turian Sentinel
