All these clips being lost to RTO thread spam an the like would be a complete and absolute shame.

I'm wondering what program you're using to extract the FSB files (that's what I'm guessing you're doing anyway). I used Audacity, but ran into trouble with Alistair's - it required me to speed it up to something like 127%, otherwise he was talking... reallly... slowly. That and it sounds like you ran into the same problem I did - I could not extract the clips separately, so (for example) I've got 2 hours of Zevran dialogue in one gigantic MP3 (which is why, I'm guessing, you're having to sort through dialogue in a similiar manner, because the none of the clips are sequential).



If anyone is interested in the Alistair or Zevran MP3s (like I said, they're long, about two hours+ per), I can put them up somewhere.

FSB files are normally whats used on console games, and they are usually mono files with no header information on them to save space.  The lack of header info is the kicker, because without it the OS has no clue what to do with the file.  Recreating that is part of the hassle, and it's not always a success.  Usually the game EXE handles this part of it.

I get seperate audio files, but they are in no particular order, and not labelled with any sort of name that tells you what it is, hence the looking part of it all.  All told Zevran has about 1,200 seperate files that comprise all his dialogue, and it's a lot to search through (I've got 3 folders of his audio with 40, 192, and 881 files in them right now not counting some small bits).  I try to break things into folders so one has just his combat dialogue, and another his camp stuff, etc etc.  Even then, it takes some time.  For characters like Alistair or Morrigan who have far more dialogue in the game, it's more like 2,000-3,000 files to search.

Why do I get the feeling some of those may be frowned upon by EA/BioWare for infringement, especially the ones with the logo and all?
