Is there a point where MP will have no effect if I go to far into the game, ie attacking TIM's base or Priority Earth?
My GR is at 52% and I was hoping it wasn't too late to play a lot of MP and get it back up to 100% before I go into the finale mission.
Galactic Readiness question.

It locks in as soon as you start the cerberus base mission, galactic readiness has no effect after that.

I see.
I don't have a problem doing the mission over again and I'm hoping that I can play MP, load the save before I started the Cerberus mission and then get the higher GR/EMS. This could work, right?

Yep, so long as your GR is at the level you want before starting the cerberus base mission you're fine.
