Personally I quitted the multiplayer until after they've allowed free upgrades and characters.

This is the best line in the thread.

The whole idea is patently preposterous. There was no false advertising and bait-and-switch is used by nearly every major retailer without a legal grievance. You get the DLC for free and you unlock the content for free. There was no baiting and no switching. There was never an expectation that the expansion content would function differently than the original content.

I guess I should clarify my stance here.

OP is either trolling or high.

It's players like you that are endemic as one of the "starbucks" generation, demanding instant gratification while shunning real effort. And hey, if someone gives you a product for free, then giving you a choice of whether you decide to work for the prize or simply leave it be... I guess it's only rational to start thinking about a lawsuit against the right SOB's that are being so horrendously unfair to your mental well-being that they request that you put some work in order to enjoy the free product they put time and money into.

What? I don't even drink coffee.

It's not a reference to drinking coffee.

Really? I mean... really? I can't even wrap my head around this one. And I just spent 15 dollars on PSP's and SP's and didn't really get what I was hoping for. Guns instead of characters, mostly.

Threatening to sue Bioware over something so trivial pertaining to free in game content. And people say the retakers were entitled. Sheesh.

I've seen all sorts of stupid in this board, but this pretty much tops it all. Trolling or not, this is completely retarded.

The real thing that confuses me, is why wasn't the same lawsuit threatened about Resurgence? The new weapons and characters from Resurgence weren't given to everybody automatically, but were still advertised as "free."

How is this different?

I don't think using logic with the OP is the best course of action here

The flaw here is that nobody really paid for it. The urge for instant gratification that forces us to buy packs for these "new content" is just our own fault. Not Bioware's fault if people can't wait a month of playing matches to amass enough credits to unlock the new content. I think there was enough of a window of opportunity for people to simply stop buying packs in the week before the release to save credits to get at least half the available content on release day.

If this ever made it to court, and if I were ever a lawyer, I'd take the case......on behalf of Bioware. There's no way I'd lose.

This is a good place to float your idea: an internet forum owned by the company you want to sue.

Well I am all for this, however I am willing to drop my case if Bioware gives me 10 billion credits. No make it 20 billion credits, that way I have a shot at two ultra rares. Not like it will hurt them, they can make all the credits they want after all. Just hope they don't raise the prices.

Maaaan. And you people wonder why we were called Children when we complained about the ending.

This kind of crap is exactly what the gaming community won't be taken seriously anytime soon.

EDIT:  Granted, this is pretty blatant trolling, but still.  Peopel really do this kind of stuff.  Like when the dude went to the Better Buisness Bureau.

If accusing someone of fraud is the first course of action you take after not getting what you want in a pack than I suggest trying to reevaluate your definition of 'fraud' to something a lot more practical and realistic.

You got the data, you have access to the rebellion content, and you didn't need to pay to have access to the data. You might as well try and sue a casino because you were promised money and didn't get the amount you wanted.
