I'm guessing it's a snowball effect, since so few other games have any gay-themed content available for them at all.
Mind you, I'm not aware of any real statistics to indicate what proportion we've got and what "proportionate" actually means anyway. For a lot of game genres the concept of "gay-themed mods" doesn't even really make logical sense.

I can understand that some people might be made a little uncomfortable by the subject for non-gay-bashing reasons, so I'm not too concerned about the question being raised. As long as there's no problem with the answer to the question being "we've got no problem with gay-themed mods being posted here".
