 Recently my parents got me Mass Effect 2 for my birthday. The game is working great, the problem is that they put the game on my brother's steam account instead of the one I use. It's not really a problem because he lets me use his steam account to play his games anyway, except that I can't transfer my saves over from one game to the other unless I tell the Mass Effect 2 configure utility exactly where steam keeps the Mass Effect 1 saves, and I'm having trouble figuring that part out.

TL;DR: I need to find out where the file location for the steam version of ME1's save data is.

Not sure for steam, but I imagine it's the same as the retail version. ME1 files should then be located in Documents\\Bioware\\Mass Effect\\Save. If so, see this post on a similar issue.
