Whoa, dude. We don't have 16 current endings at the moment. I think we've got 5? Two of which are small variations on 1 ending, the Destroy one, and shouldn't really be counted.

But, to the point at hand - No. I probably wouldn't feel patronized if the ECs content was well beyond what we could logically speculate based on what we already saw. If they don't tie it to what we already saw then it'll be nothing short than an admission of failure on their part. That I can live with.

As is said though, the devil is in the details. If the EC gets this new content across in a patronizing way, then we're going to have problems. If its really bad, the uproar will be worse than the furor over the current endings. Honestly, I'm hoping the EC will be really good or really bad. If it's really good I can walk away from ME and consider it fully resolved. If it's really bad... there will not be enough popcorn in the universe.

I'll just put my feet up,crack open a beer and watch the boards explode again

I don't care if Scooby Doo shows up to trip up the Reapers.

As long as Shepard gets to see Miranda again I won't care.

I can imagine the Scooby Doo gang doing one of those multiple-door hallway things with a mini Harbinger following them.

I'm quite sure BioWare will reference the situation in one of their priceless easter eggs. I rememeber like it was yesterday when Varric commented on not really knowing the difference between various caves because he thought all of them looked the same.

That kind of patronising, gentle nods, sure - I expect.

Can someone link me a video to these 16 endings? Curious.

They can't, because there aren't 16 endings. There are six.

No there is only one in different color, IMO...

The five others have so small variations at this moment, that personnaly, I won't call that endings...

And IGN don't come with the 16 endings by their own, duh...

JPR out!

I mean it too. Shaggy can come up and say "Zoinks" and then after the hallway chase he can be caught in an entirely implausible fishing net.

My first thought would be to say, "Why would BW shoot themselves in the foot like that?" but then thinking of the ending we did get I just have a /sigh

I hope they've seen the errors and the EC will be good and repair much of the damage between fans and BW.

Hope sustains me.

I'd even allow for Scrappy Doo if Miss Strahovksi did some voice acting.

If they truly believe that abomination of an ending to be anything more than it is on the surface, then I imagine patronization is inevitable.

The vitriol is still strong with me, apparently.

You know, given the tenor of your posts-- if I read in the news someday that Yvonne Strahovski (of whom I am a fan) had to get a restraining order I'll immediately suspect it's you. S6E1 "Sarah vs Taboo-XX"

Just gonna put my opinion out there but BW was pretty patronising in it's press releases and the official EC announcement. They have also been pretty patronising in their attitudes to people displeased with the endings.

So, honestly, yes. I really don't see this changing on BW's end at all with the EC and I think it will just tell us what we already know without much in depth explanation.

I actually know nothing about her outside of her work for Bioware.

I don't watch television and I've never seen her show.

In fact I don't even think I've ever seen her act physically.

The issue is whether Miranda will be talking or not. That's what my issue is here.

 - Thanks for the laugh.

They are trying to repair the bridge, not set it on fire.   That doesn't mean I don't worry.    I'd like to think BW has seen the error and will not be patronizing in the EC.  It'd be corporate sucide.

The Normandy is also nearly weightless and moving many times faster than the speed of light.  Anything that were to hit it would likely cause that same thing.  It's actually pretty amazing that Joker was able to keep the ship largely intact.

Taking one ship in extremely unusual circumstances and applying what happens to it to all the other ships in the galaxy is what makes it a baseless assumption.

That's nonsense. Watch the ending again. When the wave hits the Normandy all of the ship's systems start giong haywire/offline. That doesn't jive with a wave of light just nudging the ship into crashing.
You're grasping at straws to make it seem like the ending has been misunderstood.

Getting "nudged" going at FTL is a huge impact.  You do realize that force = mass x acceleration right?  Even at near zero mass, the acceleration is so huge, that any impact at all, even from a speck of dust, is going to be equal to several nuclear bombs.  It's somewhat less since it impacted from behind, and I'd imagine that's how the Normady survived at all.

Besides, something with the force to control/destroy the Reapers or rebuild life's framework galaxy-wide is more than just "a wave of light."  Even if it isn't, even light has mass (photons).

That still doesn't explain how you extrapolate what happened with the Normandy to apply to all other ships in the galaxy.

You're grasping at straws to make it seem like the ending has been misunderstood.

Getting "nudged" going at FTL is a huge impact.  You do realize that force = mass x acceleration squared, right?  Even at near zero mass, the acceleration is so huge (and then squared), that any impact at all, even from a speck of dust, is going to be equal to several nuclear bombs.

Photons are enough to completely cripple one of the most advanced starships in the galaxy? How do ships travel at FTL speeds at all? Your argument is BS.
