You don't like it. You merely falsely believe you do. In the near future you will wake up one morning and say outloud to yourself, "What the HELL was I thinking?!"
I can't tell when you're joking anymore.

Me. It's boring linear game.

Kind of a silly question. The vast majority of players only play a game through once. The little sliver of the player base that the forum visitors represent is rather atypical.

just wanna do one more to get the worst ending - only way to ensure all copies of game are destroyed

Interesting philosophical question...what exactly IS the worst ending? The one where Shep dies? The other one where he dies? Or that one where he dies?
Or perhaps it's the one where everyone on the Normandy is marooned on some planet and all climb out and smile about the fact that your Shep has died?

Played it through three times, on my fourth runthrough (Vanguard this time, have done Soldier, Adept, and Infiltrator).
Going to do two more runthroughs when this one is done (Engineer and Sentinel, obviously). When the EC is released, I'll go through each one of those characters in a new game+, this time on Insanity for a total of 12 playthroughs
You want to slag me for liking the game? Bring it on.

No one likes the game. And no, enjoying the turret combat is NOT liking the game. The game isn't merely the turret fights.

Actually, I am willing to bet that many, if not most, ME players played through the first two games multiple times. The third just destroyed the series' replayability. A game that is only worth playing once isn't a game worth $60, or more if you bought the collector's edition.

This is some what related, it seems those that only did one playthrough of Mass Effect 3 are not alone. About a month ago a german ME fan forum started a huge survey. In this survey 17,482 people took part one. Naturally one of the questions was "how many times did you complete ME 3" and the survey result was 53.4% did only one playthrough. You can read about it and see more of the survey here :-

Just click on "survey data" to see the report.

Its definitely not "Most" unless you think the industry folks have reasons to make their games seem less played than they actually are. "Many" is a different story, considering that even if less than a 1/3 of the players played multiple times, that would be hundreds of thousands of people.Anjeel wrote...

As far as the cost goes, that really depends on what you are comparing it to. Even played once, the per hour rate on an RPG is quite good compared to other forms of entertainment.

Did he do a similar survey for ME2? It's difficult to know how significant 53.4% is without anything to compare it to.
We already know that most players didn't replay ME2, since only about half finished it even once according to Bio's summary of the tracking data. (And yes, Bio thought this was fairly typical) But obviously the sort of people responding to such a poll aren't typical ME players.
It's a shame Bio won't release the full tracking data for both games.
