Fact: Tactical cloak is broken:

Evidence 1: Reload glitch. You don't have to reload the weapon, you start a reload and cloak and it cancels the reload but your weapon is reloaded.

Evidence 2: No matter how heavy your weapons are, if you cloak, fire a power (e.g. proxy mine) then shoot at an enemy your cooldown speed is always three seconds.

Evidence 3: Even though the sixth option of tactical cloak allows you to fire a power and remain cloaked the cloak damage bonus applies even if you fire a proxy mine and then a couple of shots. Instead of breaking your cloak and losing the cloak bonus. your proxy mine and the few rounds you put out get the damage buff.

Evidence 4: The Geth Infiltrator gets a 80% cloak damage donus for sniper rifles, a 25% hunter mode bonus and a 22.5 Netowrke Ai bonus, that means your weapon does  227.5% damage. That is a huge bonus. Even the salarian infiltrator maxes out at over 200%.

Evidence 5: In most normal settings, infiltrators top the leaderboard. This is due to the class being overpowered and broken. That is also why it is so heavily played.

Pleae fix the reload exploit/glitch, please fix the cloak allowing users to get damage bonuses on a power and weapons and please remove the extra 40% sniping bonus in tree 6. The 40% damage buff in tree 4 should be moved to tree 6.  A 40% damage buff, the ability to cloak and revive teammates, hide from enemies and perform objectives is more than enough for that power.

Please nerf the tactical cloak bioware. We need better balance in multiplayer and that would be the best way to start.

Bioware has already stated that the reload glitch is staying in the game. Period. It isn't exclusive to the Infiltrator class.

I agree that the problems with the new guns doesn't actually mean the new guns are OP.
They are JUST OP in the hands of an Infiltrator. Which means that something is wrong with the class. Not the guns.

Pointing out three glitches/exploits of one power isn't proof that the power is broken? Maybe they can run a seminar on common sense for you while they are at it.

So damn true. No one on this entire forum who makes these moronic threads seems to know the difference between "proof" and "evidence". God help us if they ever sit on a f*cking jury.

You can take my tactical cloak from my invisible dead hands. seriously enough with the infiltrators being OP crap, if you take away our tact cloak, all we are is a gimped engineer/soldier hybrid gone wrong.

The randoms I play with need all the help they can get. I would be ok with bioware's buffing of everything for these derps so my backpack isn't so heavy.

All 3 need a small nerf

Reegar needs an Armor damage nerf

Kyrsae needs to become an AR

Infilly needs to get reduced cloak sniper damage or make it so only 1 shot gets the bonus rather than how ever many you can fit into a 1.5 sec period of time.


The infilly population is silly on gold there's at least 2 in every match. That should tell you something.

The reload cancelling thing is really fun and just as useful on any class. But I do think that the class could use a nerf

No one is taking your cloak away, bioware simply needs to fix the exploits.

Imagine if my asari adept created a biotic explosion just by throwing throw at an enemy. Would you consider that glitch OP and in need of fixing? I would. So does the infiltrator with three very obvious exploits. You are cheating when you use those glitches/exploits. You are not playing the game fairly and it throws off the balance of it.

1) It's been stated that reload cancel is a feature, and ANYBODY can do it.
2) Agreed.
3) I use the bonus power evolution with a lightweight weapon to fire off 2 powers while cloaked.  And it's already been explained that restricting the damage bonus to one shot will make multi fire weapons like the Raptor and Black Widow utterly useless.
4) The GI gets half shields and can't restore his own shields.
5) In my last several Bronze/Silver/Gold games, I have managed to outscore everybody, Infiltrators included, with my Vorcha Sentinel.  AoE damage + little downtime from taking cover > Single target pwnage.  The only exception would be anyone with a Krysae sniper, not just Infiltrators.  That gun does almost twice the damage per shot as the Falcon with roughly the same blast radius, how is that not overpowered?

Aren't most engineers and soldiers just Gimped lesser versions of the infilly?

You are receiving all points and credits earned throughout the match in collective equality with the rest of your squad.

Why would you want to nerf a class that could potentially lead to you earning more xp/credits otherwise?

Good logic

When Bioware adds a class that has 1000000000 shields and does 100000000% weapon damage and kills everything as soon as the match starts there will be no reason to complain. CAUSE IT GETS MA CREDITZZZZ

the only remotely wrong thing with tact cloak is the idea that if you shoot as soon as you cloak, your recharge is 3 seconds. The rest of the "exploits" tact cloak are the way the game is designed to work.

I like to play a fair and balanced game for fun. I don't care about credits. Having every random lobby contain 2 OP infiltrators is detrimental to the overall experience of the game.
