I really want them to announce DA3 already! :pinched:

I seriously cannot wait and I have not heard anything about them being there so I'm guessing they won't be showing anything off?

Bioware's still a little to niche to be at the big boy events, maybe one day when they live up to their hype? :P

If they're not at the EA show promoting the ME3 Rebellion pack they're not gonna be doing anything

You feel it's too early for them even to just officially announce they're making the game?

It might not be an official announcement, it could just be more concept art or a few little hypotheticals to keep us in the loop, surely that wouldn't count as rushing things?

Yeah, maybe it's not an official announcement. I would think they would have mentioned something here if it were an official announcement, just to stir up some excitement and inform fans. But what do I know. *shrugs*

Can we dismiss the notion of DA3 being rushed? It's already been 15 months since DA2 was released -- there was only a 16 month gap between Origins and DA2. I would assume there's been some substantial progress made; nobody wants the development cycle to be truncated to the degree that DA2 was, but 15 months is a good chunk.

Origins also had Awakening and several other DLCs -- DA2 had no expansion (well, no expansion released) and fewer DLCs (despite being good quality).

I hope we get an announcement soon, and would love a Spring 2013 release.

I know DA2 felt abit rushed 'n' everything but I'm amazed how much they actually managed to get done in just 16 months, I didn't even think it was possible to have a game finished in such a short time period. It's quite impressive if you look at it from a work load point of view.

What time span is there between 'announcing' and 'releasing' a game?

Or is that a weird question? I can imagine that the announcement will be done when BW 'has something to show' as they said before. The release could be some time after that.

I think it's 6 months between an announcement and a release. But I guess that's not a rule set in stone.
Dragon age 3 would come out in December 2012 , it's a good time for sales.

Some new concept arts or other little teaser would be great. Don't need an official announcement so early, it automatically generates a small amount of pressure on the team.

In the past I think it's been about six months after announcement the game is released.

Oops, Resnore57 beat me to the answer.

I'd be happy to hear anything at this stage, even if it is just a few hints to speculate over lol.

Well thank you (both) for filling me in Image IPB.

Hope that someone will post, like was done with PAX, on the forum if there is any news.
