Whilst I have kind of got a DW warrior (though the character is leaning more towards archer), I got to say I prefer either S&B or 2H
As others have said, it just feels so good when you see a 2H wielding warrior cut through an enemies health in one hit like a knife through butter.
I remember nearly rofl when going through my first playthrough and I had Sten and Morrigan come rescue my PC and Alastair from Fort Drakon and when it got to the part they had to fight, Sten was chopping up the guards like nobodies business, Morrigan just stood back and watched most of the timeI found it funny because other than constantly bumping his stats up and ensuring he was well equipped I'd hardly been using Sten... up until that point, then after that I was like "I gotta have you in my main party!"
When I decided to try it with Sten I was impressed too. He does much less dmg my main does, has lower attack rating but still he managed to steal 2% of my contribution to party damage... I think I had really understimated the sunder attacks until I got Sten with me. They are two kicking a** talents!
