If you present the evidence, you'll only be able to have one dialogue with her in the engine room where she pretty much trashes you and asks you to "not come down here unless it's something important" She stil decideds to stay for the mission, but you won't be able to have any more dialogue with her in the engine room nor romance her.

You can romance an exiled Tali and her dialog is basically the same if you have enough paragon/renegade points. 

Yes, you can romance an exiled Tali if you chose NOT to give the evidence. I don't see what's wrong with that, as Shepard did what Tali wanted and didn't betray her trust in him.

If you DID give the evidence however, she loses most of her respect for you and won't talk to you for the rest of the game. Thus, no romance.

And regarding Tali, at least we had options with her. And she doesn't have to value the geths more than her own species. What I didn't like about her is leaving her people if the quarians survived (specially if she is an admiral). In the scenario where she is an admiral we should have an option to keep her as war assets, she leading her own fleet, being part of sword (and avoiding gilligan's planet).

But I do give it that this is a lot better than it was back in 2010 or so.

The OP has obviously never heard this before, or wanted to test it out.

A Talimancer is a wild, rabid beast which is
commonly encountered on the Bioware Social Network. They are unique
animals since they are the result of an unfortunate occurence where a
perfectly logical male gets infected by the Talimancus Romancus virus.
This turns the human being to a drooling beast which crusades against
everyone and everything who doesn't want to **** Tali, or find out what
her sweat smells like. Talimancers are pack animals who group together,
and they prey on anyone who doesn't like Tali.

If you encounter
one in the wilds, the best course of action is to ignore it. However, if
it is aggressive and tries to come at you, play dead. If you fight
back, the beast will call it's pack to help him, and then you are
f**ked.

We welcome different opinions, flaming is a different matter. By all means, flame away. But you shouldnt be surprised then when you get the same reaction, over and over.

That last line, just makes you sound so bitter. I guess your not happy your own fave got shafted, either that or Tali turned you down or made you look stupid. Or, you jealous of her, for some reason. Opinions opinions, you are welcome to them.

Not hate at all, I'm just discussing an aspect of Mass Effect, in this case a bad aspect of the game.

Oh you're right, no hate at all, no flames, just rainbows and unicorns.

Must of made you feel even worse knowing a fictional character "who you view as poorly written" turned you down. Have some cake, it will take away some of that bitterness.

And again, I think I'm just going to reach the same conclusion for me as in the hundreds of different character discussion threads over these years: I just agree to disagree. The points the OP has brought up so far are either something I simply disagree with (those that are based on personal preferences), or that I think are false altogether (some oddities in reasoning and claims, points that have already been brought up in previous posts), and talking about these points is once again going nowhere.

This topic is going along the same patterns as hundreds of topics before it, and I have seen nothing that makes me think that this will end any differently, or has anything new to offer.

I've seen threads with valid opinions on why they dislike a certain character (like tali for example). And then there are threads like this where you pretty much bash on a character and there fanbase and give contradictory or nonsensical reasons to why you are bashing them.

Saying that you dislike _____ because of A,B,C is an opinion thread which may or may not offer constructive criticism. And then there are threads like yours that says "Tali sucks and so does her fans bioware should have spent more resources on my favorite character!!"

Your thread as it is now is looking a lot more like the latter than the former.

Good day to you, I will now go back to being a badass in Max payne 3.

There is only one char that is forced down your throats, and it's not Tali. I won't name him/her, theres enough flaming material here as it is.

This char who will not be named who cannot even die so you have to put up with them throughout the entire series, and no matter how bad you treat them, they still idolize you and try to make you ditch your LI for him/her, and even admits to purposely making attempts at sabotaging your relation with your chosen LI.

Lots of persons disliked and disrespected Edgar Allan Poe's amazing stories and characters when him published them, they said that they were immature and irrational, but yet, those characters have their place in history as one of greatest parts of romantic leterature, and those who criticize them, have fallen to the oblivion.

Tali can only die a couple times in the story, her side quest in ME2 is completely optional, she joins your squad late in both ME2 and 3... yup she was completely shoved down our throats...

Your OP and title screamed flamebait. Have you considered that maybe the reason you are gettign such comments and reactions are not because of how the fanbase is, but because you were flaming them and their char? Maybe construct you OP in a better way and you'll get a better and more mature debate.

But I doubt you will, as from your OP and your replys after, your close minded to the subject and whatever reason, bitter towards Talis char.
