Tali should be taught as an example of how NOT to write a character

Talis perfect. She is not the hero charcter, shes is now 100% superwoman. She has strengths and weaknesses. She is flawed. Like every real person is. Not to mention shes cute, admirable and the love of my live up to now.
Why are you guys hating her? If so, then don't romance her. Let her die (don't you dare) or stuff. But keep it to yourself.
And well, as much as I would not romance Liara and want to defend Tali, answering with Liara hating isn't improving the situation, guys.

I hate Tali, but that doesn't mean she was poorly written. Most writers would agree that evoking a strong emotional response -- whether positive or negative -- is a sign of good writing, not whether people love or hate [the character].
Personally, I got her killed in ME2 and took pleasure in siding with the geth in ME3, but she was still a well-written character.

"Tali" ain't a real person, mate! Tali is a fictional character, a very poorly written one.
That's your opinion, not a fact.
Lots of persons disliked and disrespected Edgar Allan Poe's amazing stories and characters when him published them, they said that they were immature and irrational, but yet, those characters have their place in history as one of greatest parts of romantic leterature, and those who criticize them, have fallen to the oblivion.
If you want your opinion to be respected on this matter, create a character, and then we could really talk about it.
Are you seriously comparing the writing of Tali "Daddy Issues-Mary Sue Queen" Tzorah to Edgar Allan Poe's works? No, seriously?
Of course not, they are completely different things.
What i'm saying, is that there are always different reactions to controversial things. If you criticize one thing while not proposing a positive alternative for it, is close from being hypocrite.
If you don't like her, good for you, but please, don't complain about it if you don't have a good idea to upgrade the character.
How would you improve Tali's character on a positive way for everyone?

And one more time, you have criticised other person's opinions withnot suggesting a better solution.<_<

I do when there's the chance, but what else can I say to people who *ehem* think that by posting a few pictures and calling out names they're somehow redeeming the blandness of Tali?. Anyways, as I said, they're a good analogy to the character they're trying to defend: zero substance.

Just keep it to yourself, alright?
I just wanted to make one point clear: Claiming Tali as a racist is simply no reason for hating her because it originated in her education and social environment AND it can change if you support her. And if you look at the quarians, who could accuse them of being racist against Geth? No matter who started the war, Billions of their kind were killed by the synthetics. Children, Mothers, Fathers, Lovers. Geth don't know such feelings they destroyed. They're synthetic.
And for gods sake, if you got to choose whether to sacrfice an organic being or a robot, whos mind even goes on living as they're a network - One should at all outcomes sacrifice the geth. They aren't even a species. They don't know real feelings. Quarians, all organics ARE in any way superior to them and more worth living, even though that sounds pretty harsh.
Besides, there is always the chance to bring them together again. Thats what I did. You don't need to turn on one side.

We dropped down to you level in order to do so, since thats all you'd be able to understand. You prove this point by ignoring those posts that people actually decide to give a logical reply with to yours, and decide instead you'll post more flamebait and fail logic.
Are you the starchild by any chance?

I really wonder about those who claim the Shep-Tali romance is creepy, usually equating it with statutory rape. Yeah, see, the thing about that is - he's 30 and she's 24. If you look at a 30-year-old with a 24-year-old and immediately think sexual misconduct, that says more about where your mind is at than anything else.
Let's see, virgin, naïve girl with the mentality of a teenager and massive daddy issues crushing over this hardened war veteran military commander who also offers this paternal figure she so desperately needs, and the guy actually going for it. Totally not creepy, yeah, right...

You say Tali has daddy issues but Miranda is the same way. You couldn't even talk to Miranda in ME2 without her bringing up her father at least once a conversation.

Again, he's 30, and she's 24. Your analogy was that of a middle-aged professor with a student. Let's assume that equates to 45-year-old with 20-year-old. It's a 6-year age gap vs. a 25-year age gap.
The fact that you need to exaggerate that much just proves your trolling intentions. Nice try, buddy.
Not to mention that somehow you're okay with Shep romancing a borderline personality sex addict (Jack).

She may be 24, but she has the maturity of a 16 years old, and that's what makes it really creppy.

Miranda has daddy issues, but her "daddy issues" are better handled, also it's a different kind of relationship, Miranda is an adult woman trying to get some revenge over her abusive father's actions, Tali is a bumbling idiot trying to replace her absent, dead father with the first macho jock strong man figure that appears in front of her, if she can't get Shepard she goes for Garrus, another paternalistic figure to fill that void.
