To OP: Then since you don't think Tali is a good character, you probably think Liara "My planet just got ruined and to hell with all the others" (and) "Must kill the Shadow Broker! No Liara, you are the Shadow Broker!" , Miranda "My father did it! He's designed me you know?", Anderson "I was born in London.", Hackett "We can't win this!", Joker "I'm suddenly dating a sexbot", and EDI "I became a sexbot" are also horrible characters. No? Well then be quiet and stop posting flamebait. Bai!

No, and repeating it one hundred times will not make it true, unlike you I back every claim I make with argumentation. You just scream "trolling" as if that amounted to something or magically fixed the Tali character train-wreck.
Again, comparing Miranda's "daddy issues" to Tali's actual and true daddy issues is ridiculous. Miranda is a grown woman with a clear mind and goals, Tali is a hurt girl jumping at the first paternal figure she sees, be it Shepard or Garrus.

You've still yet to make a valid point on your view in the entire thread without resorting to flaming Tali and her fanbase, and decided to ignore all valid posts, for the simple reason that, you didn;t start this thread to debate and share views. Just to spew your bitter hate.

I already made a lot of valid points, only that you don't like them. To summarize:
- Her inherent lack of logical progression: she goes from talking codex entry, to creepy romance option, to somehow becoming a strong political figure for her species holding one of the highest political positions in the Flotilla. Nonsense.
- I personally find her boring, you may like a character that exist solely to fulfill the "prodigious teenager" role but I don't.
- She's a racist, I don't like racists. Even worse, her racism cannot even be used as a plot point because she's written too erratic. She hates the Geth, then she becomes close to Legion, the she hates the Geth again, etc.
- Her personality is dull, she's always following someone and her daddy issues are way too cliché.

Let's see. Points 2 and 4 are the same, yay you.
Liara has illogical progression to. Archeaologist to Information Broker to Shadow Broker to... Useless Shadow Broker.
Miranda is dull as rocks. "To hell with anyone else but my sister and my daddy genetically engineered me. Did you know that yet? Oh, and I wanted to put a control chip in you."
Miranda is also racist. She works for Cerberus. That has the added bonus of making her stupid as well.
So could you please stop posting flamebait and just deal with it.

They are not the same, a character can be boring and not dull at the same time. Zaeed is an example, he's a bit boring, but he isn't dull at all.

The english language says otherwise.
However, going by that, others can still fullfil both. So they don't count. It's all personal opinion.

Zaeed was a victim of his non-interactive long dialogues, that made him "boring", but that didn't take away my interest for him, hence, not dull.

Indeed, and apparently according to you personal opinions are valid discussion points when they're about bashing character you don't like (like in your previous post to this one) and "flamebait" when they're against a character you like. Kinda contradictory.

No, I was stating my opinion. Is Tali perfect? No. Is anyone perfect, no and thank goodness for that. I like Zaeed. James actually grew on me. Jacob I didn't mind either.
But do I make threads baiting Liara-mancers, Jack-mancers, etc etc? Hell no. Why? Because to each thier own. I may have a problem with one but I don't make threads bashing them and then going "No, you're wrong and I'm right. Oh, those issues don't exist for this character I like."
Get real and relax.

And sure I dont like her, but at least I can recognize she's well written and I can understand her "little sister" appeal even though that type of character is not my thing.
Point is, is that liking her is purely subjective as it is with every character. You are given her story and interact with her and it's up to you to decide whether you like her or not. And all you can do is say why you dont like or dont like her.
Ps. this makes more sense in my head

I have nothing against Tali, really. I like her, but she's just not much of a character, which is sad because she did have potential as one.

Have you considered that she might not be feeling to great about the Geth because they're currently slaughtering the Quarians? Sure, the suit-people started it but I imagine it's hard to feel real positive about a bunch of AIs in the midst of wiping out your entire race even if you do understand that they're only defending themselves.Arlionis wrote...

I'm with you on the "Admiral Tali" being nonsense but I hardly think her dislike for the Geth at the beginning of ME3 was illogical or erratic, any more than her beginning hatred of the race that forced the Quarians, their fault though it may have been, into a nomadic lifestyle.
Tali gets a fair number of hard truths shoved down her young throat through the games' events. Do I love her? No, nor do I hate her. But I certainly don't think your contentions are accurate or fair to her writers.

Don't forget she wasn't gunning for invasion either. She just didn't call the admiralty board out on it because division at a time like this she thought would be extremely bad or something like that.
