Well, I'm an atheist, BP93. I don't care if someone believes in God or not - it's not my business. It kinda becomes my business with those fundamentalists - regardless if those guys are christians, jews, moslems or atheists ...
No one is right and no one is wrong. But it's definitely wrong to believe one is right and everyone else is not.

I try, but sometimes the ***kers pleasantly surprise me.

So, yes. It is quite possible to have no way to save Wrex.
Ashley will always be on-guard regardless if Shepard tells her to do that or not. If Shepard doesn't shoot and Shepard's not able to talk Wrex down, she'll shoot him.
I don't see a necessary connection of the event with her anthropocentrism. (I definitely don't see a connection of the event with her religion in any way at all.)
She's a little trigger-happy IMHO. It shows in ME1 and ME3 with her zealousness to "get the [fatherless-children]". It doesn't show much in ME2, but she is still a bit hot-headed there. Kaidan is just stubborn in ME2.
It's the anthropocentrism and the trigger-happy nature that puts me off from her. (Add to it that it seems like she has significantly less casual dialog in ME3 and that you must recruit her to get Donnelly's, Daniels', Tali's and Garrus' romance dialogs [excluding the actual Tali/Garrus hookup], and she has some more negatives going for her in my book.)

I am your polar opposite. I try to love all the characters, and not to hate anybody...except maybe Allers that is.

All relationships can have fights. Trigger-happy can mean stayling alive a little less longer.MegaBadExample wrote...
Hey, if trigger-happy means staying alive a little while longer, then fair play.

Considering ME3 Renegade Shepard can't keep his/her fingers off of the triggers, I approve.

Ash: "Would you stop shooting people!!"
Shepard: "Your one to talk.."
Actually reminds me of the asari in ME2.
"Justicars have a nasty habit of shooting people.." Oh how I wish there could have been a renegade response to that. LOL

Nice one. Perfect battle couple.
Besides, it's not like Ashley just shoots people. You've got to give her a good enough reason to. She's cautious, but that caution is what saves her ass time and time again.
