Finally! I knew it was possible now squeeze those last seconds and make it under 10 !
It's kind of sad really. Because now I'm all like "We can get 9, guys" - But I'm gonna lay it down for some time. Play something other than Quarian Male Infiltrator (:

On the point of Geth Melee Infiltrators:
I don't have the new shield gear but at the same time the Geth has more damage per second with spamming the Heavy Melee rather than waiting for it to pulse. It is also much safer (less time in enemy fire). However this leavese you with zero shields for 90% of the game. To this end I always ignore anything shield related as it does not help as your primary strategy is Cloak, in, Mine, Melee, Melee, out... Though I fully suspect four Geth Melee Infiltrator to not have a need for the Out part given good coordination. Also I would like to suggest Cerberus as an enemy. Phantoms are melted in three or four melees and everyone knows the ATLAS's insta-kill pattern. Prime's Geth Turret is the only real enemy to the Melee Infiltrator vs. Geth but is a reall pain in the ass and the Banshees Insta-kill is too erratic to chance when going for speed runs. Just a few tips, though given your videos you probably already know this stuff...

Another great run as always, nice to see you being highly critical of your own work.

Thanks very much (: I feel it's important to try learning from mistakes by re-watching gameplay.
We'll try it against Cerberus. Right now we want to try speedruns on the bigger maps like Reactor and Ghost. Just need to learn the enemies spawn patterns better on these maps. Tried one on Reactor earlier tonight, didn't really rely on missiles that much and ended up with a 15 minute run. I'm sure if we control their spawns and utilize missiles properly we could get a 12 minute run on that map. And thanks for the tips, quite aware of them but it's always good to be reminded (:

Not without the 75% Melee Damage Bonus from Fitness 5 and 50% from Cloak 5 something he may wish to sacrifice for Claymore and Mine damage given that popular demand was for a Claymore/Reegar+Melee build . Also it can take more than two if they flip around, this minimalises damage which Phantoms are very fond of on gold. Then again since it's a speed run he will likely always have the buff... so you are right.

Wow man 15 minutes on Reactor? I never get below 25 on that damn map. Probably because anyn time I see it I exhale and immediately stop caring... Ghost hasalways been a rather hectic map especially with spwawn patterns. Maybe Hydra would be a better candidate or Jade. But your the expert on speed runs so I'll leave that stuff to you...

Yeah. With Adrenaline Module III it's not bad, to be honest. Doesn't seem that big anymore. And yeah. Hydra is also a good choice. I think 13 minutes is our best. But we have to do it over a couple of times to establish what our "normal" speedrun time would be on those maps. So it'll be a little while until I upload speedruns from those maps. I might upload some of them, but I won't label them speedruns and show off my e-peen to BSN, haha.

I did not count yours but how many per round? We got 8 or more for most of the game and even more brutes, on xbox

1. Understanding how and when to charge and clear a spawn (or at least greatly weaken it). Even if it's not a speedrun, it just wiped out a big junk of the opposition.
2. Being better about rocketing an opportune target (multiple boss units in range). There's no real reason to horde rockets when a great opportunity presents itself. I you wipe on Wave 8, you can't get extracted.
3. That you don't need Hunter Vision to have good situational awareness on Gold. It's an awesome power, but also a crutch.
4. But the biggest lesson is to be comfortable being mobile on Gold. When I first started playing, I thought you always had to either be in cover, or sprinting from cover to cover. And even though I died a lot with that strategy, I thought I would die more if I moved more, because of my initial shellshock on how fragile all the characters are on Gold the first few matches I tried. Now I'm comfortable freely moving around (and staying alive doing it!) when that's the better strategy than camping somewhere.
Anyways, thanks, your videos are not only entertaining, but helpful.

I want to echo a statement made earlier, that you humbly accepted but also deflected a bit. I have also learned a lot from watching some of the speedruns you guys have made. Sure, not all of it is applicable, but many parts are.

1. Absolutely. I think being aggressive is the best solution, speedrun or not.
2. Yeah. There's no need to rocket to the extent we do in these speedruns, but clearing out spawns is a good idea sometimes.
3. True. Hunter Vision is awesome for Damage bonus, I don't care much for the wallhack.
4. Yeah. I rarely use cover. It's either when I get caught on it - or when I'm very low on health or something. Being mobile makes the game a lot more fun as well, at least in my opinion.
Appreciate it (:

I don't have very many adrenaline mods, there's no real use in any other of the armor bonuses bar maybe Power Amp for Proxy Mine on GMI. Also I already did the calculations and, unless I effed up horribly somewhere Geth can geta +38% damage boost to their melee if specced entirely for melee damage buffs. I find it easier to ignore Networked AI on this class more than any simply because of this bonus. (140 from Cloak+95 from AH+75 from HM Kill+20 from Mine+25 from HM+25 from Blade Attachment = 140+95+75+20+25+25 = 235+100+45=335+45 = 380) I didn't include the Mele Stunner because I wasn't sure if the damage bonus from it was only applied when it is equipped and not when it's on your back. Also this is before Hydraulic Joints and Strength Enhancer III. Note that the first kill will "only" get a 305% damage bonus. Any news on whether the Melee Stunner and Blade Attachment stacks is appreciated (wouldn't be too hard to figure out but I'm lazy lol, and for some reason, despite have a wired internet connection wifi isn't so I can't right now.
