I just forgot the part of "probably the order wants the gallons and gallons of blood taken from the archdemon corpse to create future wardens..."
Hahahaha, hey.. that leads to another question. How are they going to rebuild the order if all the Blight has ended and there are no darkspawns any longer? Or there are still darkspawn in the Deep Roads ? Then what's the whole meaning? why are we here?!
No blood - No Joining?
The fifth Blight is over. Two more are left, with a potential eighth due to that damn God Baby. So, there are plenty of Darkspawn to procure blood from, and that means the Grey Wardens still have meaning.

i mentioned this who thing in another thread before too. it probably does have to do with them wondering why one of us isn't dead, and how we both managed to survive. ali probably caught wind of this and sent himself instead of his beloved that and, there may also be a possibility that they know about morrigan's ritual and speicifically wanted the *father*. If people can be tracked by blood, well they have half of the child's blood with him. you know it can't be something good though since it ended with "he PROMISED his love he would return 'someday". Funny, I believe Fergus said the same thing to his wife and child and they ended up getting shanked.

His promise to Oren about him seeing a sword real up close was true though. So promises do come true in some cases.Thief-of-Hearts wrote...

there are plenty of darkspawns left , you only ended the blight not erradicated the darkspawn , also on the Op's screenshot it looks like you were never considered a queen/princes since it mentions spent time with his love at Anora's discomfort so you probably got a bugged ending , unless i understood wrong ad you stayed his mistress and not his wife
No, take a look: (I've also added some of the story about the darkspawn)

Check the screenies I posted above. It says: "Catelyn married King Alistair in a lavish ceremony six months after his conoration, becoming the princess-consort of Ferelden. The two toured the nation soon afterwards, and the people were ecstatic to see how the king adored his new bride"

Strange, I get your point.. maybe it is some generic slide they put in there for everyone? lol this doesn't make sense

I believe that being called to Weisshaupt is supposed to be part of the "Alistair is not king & you promise to stay and protect Denerim/rebuild the Grey Wardens" ending IF you put Anora forth as queen and agree to support her before the Landsmeet. I just can't quite remember which it was, but I know it was one of the two (promise to stay OR rebuild the Wardens).

Yep, Weisshaupt Fortress is in the Anderfels, and yeah, I think they're probably pretty interested in getting an explanation as to why you and Alistair didn't die (something I'm working into a story atm actually). The Anders Wardens are supposed to effectively be the rulers due to the weak king, etc. etc. and they sound pretty serious.

Oh so you think that part is bugged aswell? Or is meant to be that way ?
pd: i'm looking forward to read your story ;>

LOL, thanks - at the rate I'm going it may take a while (Chapter 1 almost done if I can squeeze in more writing time). Anyhow, yes, I'm of the opinion that it's bugged and that Alistair is only supposed to be summoned to Weisshaupt if Anora is queen & you choose to stay in Denerim. I'm fairly certain that it the tension with Anora gets mentioned, but having finished the game the first time after staying up 24-hours+ my memory might be a little suspect.
I did two complete playthroughs so far, but my third is taking longer due to work - authors with terribly formatted manuscripts being the bane of my existence. *sigh* I think I shall see if I can trigger it again (different elf mage) when I finish (thankfully I only have the Deep Roads left & then it's Landsmeet time pretty much - I don't count the Alienage section as much work - hah). Now that I think about it, when I picked "rebuild the Grey Wardens," I'm pretty sure I got the "he doesn't leave your side except to go build that memorial for Duncan" thingy - no mention of Weisshaupt at all.

I've just reloaded a save game to check this, but it isn't true. If you put Anora on the throne and do the 'rebuild Grey Warden' option, Weisshaupt isn't mentioned at all. That Weisshaupt bit is turning up in confusing ways.

I get the impression that they are calling on him to explain how EXACTLY the Blight was stopped without sacrificing a Grey Warden in the process, but I could be wrong.
You are wrong because I got this ending when refusing Morrigans deal and sacrificed myself. The ending must have something to do with hardening him and marrying Anora, or something of that variant cause it definately does not have anything to d with Morrigan.
Like I said, I got it when I sacrificed myself and refused Morrigans deal.

Thanks for the additional info. I've only seen the non-hardened Alistair marrying Anora with the male PC not sacrificing himself ending, so far, and that does have him being summoned, at least in dialog.

Or it could just be /roll 2. Get a 1 and he doesn't get summoned and get a 2 and he does get summoned. Wouldnt surprise me.
