Why doesn't Cage simply direct and write movies? It's p. obvious he sees gaming as as a way to emulate film. Why doesn't he just do it if he is not interested in the aspects that makes games unique (gameplay).

He makes more money off the interactive medium niche than his films' ticket sales would, after marketing and production expenses. Plus, I do think he relishes the interactivity portion of his projects, and trying to make the audience members feel like they're participating in the story.
