Why doesn't Cage simply direct and write movies? It's p. obvious he sees gaming as as a way to emulate film. Why doesn't he just do it if he is not interested in the aspects that makes games unique (gameplay).

$$

He makes more money off the interactive medium niche than his films' ticket sales would, after marketing and production expenses.  Plus, I do think he relishes the interactivity portion of his projects, and trying to make the audience members feel like they're participating in the story.

Calculon: I have no choice but to-
Mr Moviefone: If you want Calculon to race to the lasergun battle in his hover-Ferrari, press one. If you want Calculon to double check his paperwork, press two.
Fry (to Leela): What the hell's going on??
Leela: Movies are interactive now, Fry. You get to choose exactly how you want them to surprise you.
Fry (presses one)
Mr Moviefone: You have pressed two.
Fry: No I didn't!
Mr Moviefone: I'm almost positive you did.
There has been a filibuster. To force a floor vote, press one.
Fry: Interactivity sucks. If they expect me to choose, one of the options better be a naked werewolf attack!

Wait, isn't that the creepy "fans" fault, not Cages?

Yes but Cage gets some of the blame for, having the naked model there to begin with. It's not actually a scan of Ellen Page, they straight up created an in game nude model for her character even though the scene doesn't have shown nudity in it. Which makes me wonder why they bothered making an anatomically correct model and not just your standard barbie doll model to begin with.

That's fine, but it still comes down to the players who choose to take advantage of the "system" in my opinion. Yeah, I don't know why, maybe it's something becoming a norm? Look at EDI's model with that one specific outfit, doesn't need to be there, but it is - or even the Banshee (nevermind).

I would say the nude model is entirely QD's fault.

Yes some rather creepy fans are the ones that found it, but Quantic Dream is still the one who put it there.

When somebody does something wrong, you don't blame the people who caught them for doing it even if they were caught by a rather creepy(but not all that surprising on the internet, let's be honest) method.

No, because QD made it, without Page even knowing. They could have made a barbie doll body but they created a fully detailed nude model that had Pages body on it, WITHOUT her knowing that. Just because creepy fans found it means nothing, the fact that Cage allowed it says alot.

Exactamundo.

Hey Seival, what is your response to David Cage being creepy toward Ellen Page?

The game has 18+ rating. I see no problem in scenes with mature content there. I believe the actors and the developers think the same way, and that "David Cage being creepy toward Ellen Page rumor" is nothing more but a trolling. Both David and Ellen did amazing job, just like the rest of the people involved in the Beyond: Two Souls development.

Right, keeping photo albums of total strangers isn't weird at all. Also having the need to toss in a shower scene in every one of his games.

Sure but you actually have to have people agree to a nude scene instead of just going ahead with it on your own perogative. You also realize he was dead set on Ellen page before he acutally signed her right? Had a whole collection of pictures before he actuallly asked her, kinda creepy tbh.

Right,  spending a year googling an actress from age 8 to adulthood and then making a scrapbook containing all her photos plus adding in a fully detailed nude model of said actress for a scene that has no graphic nudity isn't creppy at all.
<_<

Ellen did amazing job

The only ingot of truth.

just like the rest of the people involved in the Beyond: Two Souls development.

Except the writer, director, and QA testers.

Ahh, completely disjointed.

Just like the Beyond 2 Creepy.

LOL at the praise.

Forza182, raspberry123, TheQuietGamer, MadskilZ_4960, discodave2011, jacketguy, OcelotUMG, derezzed.

Wow, can't get some praise from professional reviews or high standard amateur reviewers and gamers like TotalBiscut?

What a joke.

Just slightly crazy? And don't worry Miley Cyrus up there digs it.
