Ok so there is a bug that occurs if you decide to change your choice for king during the "Paragon of her kind" quest. If you decide to pick the canidate other than the one you have been helping, you will end up with the completed quest and the active quest which you can never finish. So if your OCD like me here is how you get rid of the useless active entry....

1. Back your saves (Please) Should be "Documents/dragonage/characters/(your character)/saves"
2. Open your DA toolset and go to open file
3. Locate your save games and go to the most recent (will be Slot_(insert # here) and select (yoursave).das
4. Expand SAVEGAME_CAMPAIN
5. Expand SAVEGAME_JOURNAL
6. Expand SAVEGAME_JOURNAL_ACTIVE_LIST
7. Now you will see a list of numbers representing your journal entries. Expand each one in turn to locate the one with the reference that has a value of  orpt_wf(canidatename)_t3.  Example= SAVEGAME_JOURNAL_RESREF / STRING / orpt_wfbhelen_t3.
8. Now delete that numbered entry (mine was 17).
9. Now Save.
10. If you go to your save game file you will see that you have a new (yoursavegame).das.bak file. This is the backup file that the toolset creates. It can be deleted but save it until you check to see if the new .das file works. If it doesn't delete the currect .das file then rename the das.bak file to just .das and your back to square one.

Hope this helps someone. Please feel free to repost this as you see fit. I know I looked at some other forums out there looking for a fix and came up with nothing.  If you have any issue ill check this post regularly for a few day incase i missed something...I'm a little tired  Posted Image Good Luck.

Hi,
I am stuck with this problem, and my autosave previous to the crown giving is about 12 hours BEFORE that moment...
I cannot redo everything again, I'd rather drop the game.
I would gladly try your trick here... The only problem is, I own the mac version and so I don't have access to the toolset. I would be so very grateful if I could hand you my saves and you could try the trick... Please? ;_;

Yay! I installed the toolset under bootcamp, moved the saved files, hacked them as you explained and the goddamn quest is gone! It is still in the completed quests list, so everything should work fine.
I don't know if it would have stuck the game, but thank you very very much anyway!! This is a big relief! :D
