I got a nasty message after kicking a random in order to make space for a friend that had just come online during the previous match. He pointed out the fact that he had scored the highest during our last two matches (a well played asari adept!) And asked if i was tired of having my hand held and being carried!

I sent him a message back congratulating him on his playstyle and highscore but pointing out the fact that he had been competing with 2 engineers and a low level infiltrator and that score isn't the best measure of skill

some people's ego's man... it's just a game lol not sure why they get so butt hurt.

I doubt it was his ego. He was the better player of the match and was wondering why he was kicked. If a friend comes online and wants to play but that requires someone being kicked, I just leave and create a new game.

*shrugs* I couldn't care less. If people don't want to give me a chance to contribute, why should I take that to heart? I'll take my abilities where people will hopefully appreciate them =P

I'd appreciate them. Heck, I'd be playing Gold and I'd appreciate the abilities of a level 10.  I give everybody a chance. What some people need to accept is that you can't always win every game you play.

It makes me FURIOUS!

Not really, it's their loss. And I can't even remember when I was last kicked.

He pointed out the fact that he had scored the highest during our last two matches (a well played asari adept!) And asked if i was tired of having my hand held and being carried!

I sent him a message back congratulating him on his playstyle and highscore but pointing out the fact that he had been competing with 2 engineers and a low level infiltrator and that score isn't always the best measure of skill or contribution. i pointed out that none of this mattered. the only reason i had kicked him was because my friends had come online and i would be playing with them for the rest of the night. Finally i sent him a friend request stating that i would definitely be interested in playing with him in future.

he sent back a message apologising for the rude comments in his first message (he really didn't like getting kicked!) and also complemented me on my playstyle with my Human engineer and accepted my friend request.

we have played together regularly ever since.

It doesn't bother me non, kick my Claymore Vorcha? Fine, I'll just go top the score boards and carry some other team, your loss.

The only time it bothered me was after a match on reactor. It was a good match, everybody did well, and then we get to the lobby and these two friends who had been talking about their girlfriends the whole time decided they didn't like that one guy (me) for whatever reason and booted me, lol.

It actually makes me a bit depressed. I like to ask why I got kicked, and sometimes at least it will just be making room for a friend or I'll get some good feedback...Unfortunately sometimes its just because I suck.

Oh, well yeah if there's already two of you there it is easier just to boot the other person out. BioWare should add a feature for when you, the host, boots someone out you can select a reason to be displayed for them, example: Make room for friend and the message to the booted would be "You have been removed from the lobby to make room for their friend". Something like that.

I don't really know how I'd feel. I've played this game a lot since release and I've been kicked a grand total of one time, about two months ago, for being a human vanguard on gold.

No, not really. I usually get kicked because I'm a girl, and I guess girls can't play video games =/
Not really frustrating, even though it happens 1 out of 3-4 lobbies. I just press 'A' and find another match.

I get kind of annoyed when I get kicked. I usually ask politely why people kick me in case they had a legit reason. Some people are idiots, one dude told me he kicked me just because I was using a batarian.

I get mad, but not that mad. Every time I get kicked it's as soon as I join a lobby and I mostly play Silver and Bronze so you can understand my frustration.

Never been kicked, but I wouldn't care. People kick for any kind of reason, legit or not. Wouldn't waste my time worrying over it.

Heh. I was once kicked and I asked why. He replied saying "u took all the kills n we hardly got any points"

That made me sigh.

Can't say I've actually been kicked yet, but I did get parachuted into a gold game where all of my teamates were already dead (gold match). I lasted about 5 minutes and as soon as we got back to the lobby I had 2 kick votes by my name! Not like I could do a lot about the match I joined, but I didn't take it to heart and just left before they had a chance to kick me. No point carrying on if you're not wanted, and no point in getting worked up about it. Plenty of other games out there :-)

Sounds a bit special to me, though I've got some ferocious hate mail for simply using the riot shield in Call Of Duty even though I've never won a game of it in my life.

I dont generally use a mic and got kicked from a lobby yesterday for the first time. Got an xbox text message two minutes after saying -
"Sorry for the vote-kick, but we're three friends waiting for the fourth, thanks for the few games!"

I would have replied by saying then why didn't you lunkheads make it private.

I was kicked after one Silver game.
I was so upset. I know I'm not the best gamer but I really did my best to help everyone like I always do. Now I just have no idea why I was kicked, but back then I felt miserable.

I haven't been kicked too often, so no, no problems for me. One time I did get a voice message from the host explaining they had a friend they wanted to get in the game and they didn't want to kick me but they kinda had to. I didn't feel bad about that at all.

Another time I was kicked from the FBW/G/G lobby because I was playing my Salarian Engineer and some ****** claimed that it was Salarian Infiltrators that had Decoy, not Engineers, so I was kicked. Actually, considering how dumb those folks had to have been, I don't think that was a bad thing for me.

If they don't tell me why, or at least I guess why, then yeah.

Hasn't too much though.
