EDIT : -Problem has been taken care of as of now. I followed the steps on page three to delete my mass effect 3 folder and it set everything straight, as did my friend and worked for him as well. Thanks.-

I'll let my old problem sit here in case someone else needs help with the same problem.

Alright so, i just came back to play mass effect 3 from having a 1.5 month long ish break. Downloaded the extended cut and latest DLCs (and i have the N7 digital deluxe edition). Started playing single player and all was fine, then i figured i'd get my gallactic readiness up a bit by playing multiplayer since i hadnt played a while and was on 50%, and its loading for a good 5 minutes and this window pops up telling me i have lost connection to the EA servers, and then i try 10 more times, still saying i lost connection. I tried update it, restart, running as administrator. I tried my last login to multiplayer about 5 minutes ago. so what should i do, i would really like to be able to play multiplayer so i at least can get my gallactic readiness up so that... my estimated military strength is worth while and i can continue to play single player without losing out on strength. BUT, as far as i can tell bioware employees doesnt seem all too keen on responding seeing as this thread is quite old now. anyway, help would be much appreciated.

My problems are just like the first page of problems. Random disconnects, not being able to reconnect, etc.

However, I have noticed a couple'a things.

1. Whenever I go in and create a game, I seem to be fine. Although this rarely happens. So, take it for what it's worth.

2. I just upgraded my OS to Win7 from XP. (Completely different hardware, new install of Windows 7) I've never had this problem before (when I had XP), but now that I've got Win7? Pshew. Of course, to be fair, you did release the latest DLC during the time I was building it.

I just got done resetting my router from factory specs. I guess I could try updating the firmware on it, too.

I just wanna play ME3 without any hassles. :(

Oh by the way, as the solution with deleting the mass effect 3 folder to be able to play multiplayer stated on page three, did work for me, it appears that all of my achievements has disappeared from my single player by doing that. I was near ish the end of the story when i scanned a planet for stuff when i suddenly got a popup saying ''Lost and Found 1'', squadmates bonus powers disappeared, stuff like that. Pretty sad, but oh well, i hope it doesnt inflict any major consequences with my game. Thought i'd mention that to anyone thinking of trying that solution.

#1. When did it start?
#2. What have you tried to fix it?
#3. Do you any DLC installed?
#4. When was the last time you tried to get into multiplayer?

#1: Today

#2: Tried to update the game via Origin (right click on the game -> Update). Rebooted Computer, repaired the installation via Origin, tried the "delete the Bioware/ME3 Folder" fix that was suggested in this Forum

#3: Yes, All the multiplayer DLCs (Rebellion, Resurgence, Earth) + From Ashes + Extended Cut

#4: Last time successfully: Last night. Have been trying it today since abaout 7:30 PM CET

Couple of observations:
In the main menu of the game, it says "Connected to EA Servers" but it won't show my Galactic Readiness, instead it says something like "Load failed. Cannot connect to server" or something like that. I sometimes had that issue before, but Multiplayer always worked anyhow. Not anymore.
Also, I have been playing multiplayer regulary for maybe two weeks now, I never participated in one of these Multiplayer Events before. Now Operation Overwatch started today, and the problem occured for the first time. Coincidence ?

UPDATE: I tried again just now, this time it DID show my Galactic Readiness in the main menu after starting the game, still won't connect to multiplayer though.

#2. What have you tried to fix it? Uninstalled both Origin and ME3, restarted PC, reinstalled both as admin, opened firewall ports, disabled firewall, insured both Origin and ME3 were Trusted in firewall, reset router, checked and both enabled and disabled UPnP on router, tried multiple different networks without change

I was getting "you have lost your connection" every time I tried to play multiplayer. I did the below. Maybe it will work for you.

1) Back up your saved games and clear the saved games folder.
2) Start Origin
3) Right click on ME3.
4) Click on "Show Game Details"
5) Click on the Tab at the top that says "Cloud Storage."
6) Uncheck "enable cloud storage for all games"

Now play multiplayer.

#1. When did it start?
Had this issue after operation : Olympus, before that multiplayer was working fine and I had no disconnects

#2. What have you tried to fix it?

From opening ports to restarting modems every match to Firewalls and anti-virus software...I've done about everything possible except going to my ISP which I am now considering. However it doesn't justify why the multiplayer was working before and just after Operation :Olympus, it gets these problems.

#3. Do you any DLC installed?

All DLCs installed, leaving only the latest Firefight pack that isn't installed

#4. When was the last time you tried to get into multiplayer?
Just last night and every night since Monday of this week.

P.S: Using ME3 CE on Windows Vista 32 bit

I cant be taken as flawless evidence, but 2 of my 3 squadmates became unable to connect the moment origin updated.

They had followed me up through the DLC as the DLC was released.

A certain one has tried to get on for about 20 minutes a day, and can probably give you a list of things that do not work... At all.

#1. When did it start?
Since I start this game.
but after "Earth" DLC, it comes more frequently. in this case, play working fine. but lots of glitch. If I get close to other character, my character will teleport to anywhere until I get duck on a wall or objects.

#2. What have you tried to fix it?

Re-Install windows,
Install Intel's discrete LAN card,
Relocate DNS, (Google, OpenDNS, FoolDNS and more!)
Make firewall policy for Masseffect3.exe and Origin.exe
Make exception policy in anti-virus software (MSE) file and process is same as above.
Turn programs off which could make huge traffics (e.g. utorrent, Steam?)
use Private VPN connection.

#3. Do you any DLC installed?
Everything.

#4. When was the last time you tried to get into multiplayer?
Just did.

Computer problem?
Nope.
Core i7 2600K@4.5GHz, Corsair 1600Mhz 6-6-6 16GB, ASUS Maximux IV Extreme-Z, GTX690 SLI, OCZ ZX1250W
Slow Internet?
Posted Image
4ms ping, 90.50Mbps DL spd., 75.92 UP spd.

and one of my interested point is BF3 is totally fine.

I haven't been blocked from playing, but last night I got a ton of connection losts from ME3 multiplayer.

#1. When did it start?
Last night. Only happened very rarely previously, but between my brother and I, we got dropped about 10 different times in 2 hours, mid-game. It's afe to say that this started with Operation: Olympus for me as well.

#2. What have you tried to fix it?
Nothing really. I have no software that filters or blocks anything whatsoever, and I've always played ME3 multiplayer with no problem. All indicators pointed to some server-side issues.

#3. Do you any DLC installed?
All multiplayer DLC as well as Extended Cut, From Ashes, and Firefight Weapon Pack

#4. When was the last time you tried to get into multiplayer?
Last night I was able to play for a few hours. Randomly dropped mid-game, way more often than usual.

It seems that I cannot go more than a game or two (at most) without getting disconnected. Since buying the game, I have yet to experience any sort of disconnecting problems while playing multi-player. So, as you could figure, this has grown increasingly frustrating. Especially while I try to get my squad goal completed for the weekend.

#1. When did it start?
Friday Evening.

#2. What have you tried to fix it?
Other than my anti-virus, I have no software running that could effect Origin or ME3 connectivity. I attempted to play multi-player with my anti-virus disabled but ran into the same issue. Re-started my router and computer a handful of times, to no avail. As Mysteu said above, the issue seems to be server side.

#3. Do you any DLC installed?
All multi-player DLC as well as Extended Cut and From Ashes.

#4. When was the last time you tried to get into multi-player?
I was just disconnected on Wave 10. Frustrated, I tabbed out to see if anyone else on the forums had similar troubles.

Edit: I was disconnected during two games in a row. Being that I was grouped up with a friend, I was able to re-join the game via my Origin invite. However, it appears that by doing so I forfeit all of the credits I earned within the two games. Been at 20k short of buying my Premium Spectre Pack since. This is getting beyond irritating!

Same happened to me yesterday. Got disconnected 5 times in a row after ~20 minutes of playing, twice on gold wave 10. It seems OK today but I played only a couple of games so I can't say for sure if the problem is gone.

Maybe it was just your ISP that was struggling with something yeasterday?

My ISP was struggling in December or maybe it was at the start of this year, and then I got those messages a lot on wave 10 and earlier.
The ISP got the issues fixed, and I could play normally again.

BUT, Bioware shouldn't just dismiss these reports, and blame people's ISP.
I don't know how many experienced that yeasterday. If there was a lot, it's not the ISPs fault.
