Did you buy it off amazon or ebay? At nearly every offical retailer CE was like 70-80 bucks.

Well they were advertised as exclusive and I didn't want to miss out on any content especially considering it was the final game in the trilogy but that's just one complaint. The massive price drop bothers me a lot more.

The price has to drop, they sold like 3-1/2 - 5 million copies in the first week, then sales slow down.
Sales go even slower the farther you get from release date, and I doubt too many people will be buying the game for birthday presents for friends and families given the horrendous customer review score on amazon.

Pre-order Digital Deluxe. Its basically CE but everything is digital. I also have M55, AT12, Indra and Chakram armor and launcher. All crap really. Still using Mattock.

You didn't  pay 80USD because of crap N7  weapons. You bought CE because of other things, not crap DLCs.

I don't see it that way at all. A game is a game. No reason why weapons available in one half should be excluded from the other.

Except in multipalyer you have balance issues.  Games with pay walled top tier gear suck.  They suck a lot.  Everyone should have a chance to unlock the best gear in a multiplayer game. If you only allow the people who have the ability to drop the most money get the best gear you get a pretty stratified system.  I have no interest in ever playing a game where the best items in multiplayer require you to pay more money.  If you can't grind for the weapons for free, your game isn't worth my time.  Maybe the CE could unlock the level 1 versions of all the n7 weapons, I'm fine with that.  But it is incredibly stupid to have those weapons be totally unavailable to those who don't have the collector's edition when it comes to multiplayer.

I preorder to support my local retailer and because that allows me to pay it down over time. I got the CE because I liked the physical goodies, the bonus skins, the included story DLC, and the dog. I don't even use the N7 weapons.

Digital CE's of games though are completely worthless IMO, they have zero collector value.

Well you couldn't have foreseen that the game would be so terribad in multiple aspects that the prices would drop and people would STILL not be buying the CE.

Unlike all the whining that goes on here this complaint is actually legitmate especially in regard to overpaying.

Try using the two brain cells between your ears to seperate the fluff from everything else.

I'm just happy the N7 weapons were incorporated into the multiplayer. Would have been nice to keep them exclusive but doesn't bother me.
