I bought the standard edition at first becuase all the collectors editions had gone, it was only recently I got the Collectors Edition, yes it would have been nice to get all the N7 weapons, but then again I don't think it's fair on those who couldn't afford the CE version, ive worked hard to get some weapons, I dont mind that, what annoys me is when you get screwed at the store on failures, even when you have paid good money buying packs, now that pees me off.

Do you understand how much work we have had to do to get these things?

IF I have known I have spent some money and totally just played and not lose my nerves with FFFFF character cards I already own.

I have the CE and I pre-ordered it to boot... I think I got what I paid for and I am fine with the way it turned out... maybe you would like your N7 rating to start out at 5000 as well your highness

So yes, I do believe we are entitled an oppinion to being kicked to the side of the road behind those few with the collector's edition who will now have 4 of the best guns in MP that no one else will be able to get.

Chalk me up as another CE owner who expected to get said N7 weapons for my single-player campaign and got said guns in said campaign.

No skin off my nose if they're a prize in multiplayer.

Thank you - I feel much better about "only" buying the standard edition for $49.99.

There are 4 N7 weapons. Now, I don't know about the Crusader shotgun, but upon release, the other three were the best in their groups.

Everyone you say? And here I thought you had to jump through hoops to do a difficult event on a specific weekend just to find out that they didn't send you the comendation pack.. so then you have to send EA an email [which isn't as easy as it sounds] and hope that they are nice enough to award a comendation pack that gives you one of the random N7 weapons.... That's totally available to everyone.

you bought them for the single player dummy they never even mentioned multiplayer. Also. only chumps pay full prices. Green man gaming and others like that and some brick and mortar retail shops here in finland sold that game on launch day for like 27€ or less. not the regular 45-60€. not to mention the same places had the standard version pre order price as low as 35€. no point paying full price if demo tells you the end product wount have such a great quality, or if it feels like a pig in a bag

I realize that there are 4 N7 weapons in CE/Commendation Packs; my point was that only two of those said weapons are objectively among the best when compared to other MP weapons. The Crusader is decent (although I didn't use it much in SP; single slug threw me off), but the Eagle is just plain bad.

yup eagle is pretty hard to find use for, but i do have a build that uses it, othervise using that gun feels like sitting on cactus while choking on horse semen....

4 of the best guns? The Eagle is one of the ****tiest guns out there, never mind being the worst pistol. Even the arc pistol or scorpion are better - and the easist weapon to get in the game, the predator is laughably easier to upgrade while having a higher dps! And the crusader is a Saber that's heavier, harder to level, takes up a shotgun slot you could put a gps in, and can't get a scope or penetrate as far with mods. The valiant is useful, but not as much on an infiltrator, the main sniping class. But it's still good, and it's much lower weight than the Black Widow makes it a better gun on lower difficulties, arguably. It's major drawback, once again, is that the saber beats it in all respects except not having a built in scope. The one seriously good gun in the entire pack is the hurricane, which was good from the start and has actually been BUFFED since that. That thing is deadly in a turian soldier's hands. But that's the only gun that isn't eclipsed by others, or just flat out trashed, like the eagle.

I think if you exclude players from weapons depending on the edition of the game they bought it would only be segment the community. I stopped playing BF3 after they released the back to karkand dlc for that reason. it had new weapons/maps that cant be accessed by players who didnt buy the expansion, like me. though many pre-ordered and got it for free, I also preordered but didnt get b2k for free. what bioware has done extremely well with ME is release MP content for everyone (for free too) regardless of the edition of the game they have bought. not many companies I believe have put as much additional content into the game so far out from release as bioware. sniper elite v2 also recieved 4 new MP maps just 1 month out of release but no new guns/characters. so kudos here.
