While test-jump could be a proof that relays were not destroyed completely.

If Relays blowing into bits and pieces doesn't meant getting destroyed completely, then yes.

Obviously, the new Relays always blow into bits and repair themselves again each time they transport somebody. Or they only do that sometimes when they really want to. You know, just like Asari eyes aren't always black. Or something.
Gee, does the OP have to explain every single little thing about his insane ramblings theory for you?

At least his/her theory is better thought up than some of the responses here (maybe not conveyed as well). Then again, maybe I am just speculating.

...What? Where the heck did you get that this didn't happen literally after you make a choice and a wave goes through? Let's not also forget that the control of the **** were damaged as well by the shockwave.

Thanks again :)

It's really good to see constructive way of thinking, even if the person doesn't agree with you.

Wow, this troll post still lives.

I don't know whether to be saddened or impressed.

...And it's not good to see completely unconstructive people here... I offered a nice theory, Subguy614. The best thing to do here is to agree or argue.

Wonderful! Time for a celebration! Cheese for everyone!
Wait, scratch that. Cheese for noone. That can be just as much of a celebration, if you don't like cheese.

It's not trolling, if this theory was in someway offensive that would be trolling. This is just outlandish thinking.

I once dug a pit and filled it with clouds... or was it clowns? It doesn't matter, it didn't slow him down. But it really began to smell! Must have been clowns. Clouds don't smell, they taste of butter. And tears.

Hypothesis is garbage. The relay network is not back up. This is the blue explosions, but... What you see I think in the third image is not a mere plot hole. It is a black hole of suckage that consumed the story, and anything in its growing sphere of suckage. The rear half of the Normandy was sheared off trying to escape the expanding event horizon in an attempt to avoid getting sucked into it, failed, and thus got stuck on this planet no one knows where.

The crew getting off the Normandy just named their tribe after the first words out of their mouths. Where the ****arewe.

You know, you remind me of myself at a young age. All I cared about was riding narwhals and sleeping in honeycombs and drinking babies' tears...

It's not running away... It's a test-flight. Relays just can't work properly right after the reconstruction/reactivation. And some of test-flights have to be made with full crew aboard.

You are far too hard on yourself, my dear, sweet, homicidally insane Seival. What would the people do without you? Dance? Sing? Smile? Grow old?

Bioware will probably re-edit that scene with the EC to reflect this theory.  It's still a poor scene with cheap and lazy writing.

Bioware Employee #1: Hey check it out. Someone might've figured out how we're going to fix the Normandy Crash scene in the EC.

Bioware Employee #2: No way. Let's see what people think.

*9 pages later*

Bioware Employee #1: SERIOUSLY!?! AGH!! Turns out the fans think this is even worse! Apparently they still want this "logic" we've only heard rumors about.

Bioware Employee #2: SHHH!! Hudson or Walters might hear you. You remember what happened to the last guy who said it?

Bioware Employee #1:Yea, you're right. Regardless we still need to do something. Alright guys, trash everything! We're starting again!!

If the initial idea was different, then I doubt they will remake it to reflect this theory. My point is that my theory actually reflects the initial idea of the scene.

Someone please take whatever substance the OP is using to come up with this nonsense and let this thread die. This makes about as much sense as Synthesis.

The entire ME3 ending makes sense, when you try to think about it with clear mind. Just relax and try Image IPB

I present this: Couldn't they just use a shuttle, those go FTL and they aren't massive tactical assets.

If they wanted to "test" the relays, an outdated vessel flown by a VI would have sufficed. They could have left my Shep's crew & LI the hell out.
